Wolverine sales can't determine sales of other characters imo. It can for other Wolverine movie character but not other franchise characters from other movies.

Not only because it's another character but they've done three of them so their consumer base likely already has one and isn't inclined to buy a second or third so that doesn't give clear indication of interest in a new, different character.

Also they have new versions of figures still in-stock so their is more to it than sales of individual figures that determine line depth

Doesn't help that their Wolverine's have each fallen short in capturing the character, be it no likeness (Origins), no likeness AND silly looking teeth AND not people's favorite outfit (Last Stand), a closer likeness but squat-head with moustache and reused body that's now too skinny (The Wolverine).

Those are funny, but the one of Fass in the Shining actually looks cool as hell, would love to see him in a role like that.

I was actually excited about the Wolverine version based on the prototype. But the production version was *Kevin Sorbo voice* disappointing! I have the Origins one, and it's still the best option out there IMO, based on overall quality and options to make a reasonably "iconic" version of Wolvie in either the wife beater or X1/Origins jacket. But I do agree with you that none of these feels like a slam dunk.

Sold my Origins version in anticipation of MMS220. Yeah.

I'm now counting on Hot Toys to give us a decent 70s DOFP version with a newly developed body to reflect Jackman's largely size.

I think we'll see something from this movie but I do think we'll get another Wolverine. I just hope we do get at least 70's Magneto, 70's Wolverine/Future. Those 2 are on my high list from the film itself but I wouldn't mind seeing a 70's Charles. Not sure what we will be getting from Hot Toys since it's so unpredictable with them. I just want some figures from this movie. All I am asking.

Just read some reviews on Maleficent and they are overwhelmingly bad. I still can't believe that they are making figures from that, but all we get are bad Wolverines.
