@The Phantom: Okay gotcha, now we're on the same page... in that regard...

Pretty much. Mind you it's not like I'm just blaming Disney/Marvel here, I'm also looking at Fox because even I recognize that some (if not a lot) of the problem with this probably has to do with their current business practice. :monkey4

Cool.

I don't know what's up with Fox, but Disney isn't stopping them from doing anything. Why would they? Disney has a lot more on their plate then just Marvel.

As far as the Hot Toys deal with XM:FC, I don't know why those figures weren't made, or why no other ones aren't either. Maybe they don't think they'll sell enough. Whatever it is, they'll never tell.

I'm on my phone so it's a pain to look through threads properly. Can some explain the whole DisMarv vs Disney vs Marvel vs Fox thing in a simple sentence please. :D

Disney Marvel owns the merchandise rights but Fox will get a small percent of the profit from the merchandise so Disney Marvel is not licensing the franchise for merchandise because of this. They want X-Men movies rights, they aren't going to get them but they think if they hold off on the merchandise it will hurt Fox' marvel movies when in actuality the only ones it affects are fans of those movies.

Thanks for the info. :hi5:

When does Fox's X-Men license expire?

You can get a fully licensed Diamond Select DOFP Mystique figure in October. You can buy it in the Disney Store.

Shame that there is NO merchandise for this film what-so ever. Some kind of statement or reasoning would be nice.

Another one bites the dust. Sadly I don't think we are getting a damn thing from them. Very disappointed. I might as well just make a custom.

How HT can't see that a Fassbender Magneto would sell like hot cakes boggles the mind. Maybe X-Men doesn't have the global appeal that Avengers/Iron-man does?
