Is the cap just floppy? i wonder if you glued some wire on the inside,
around the edges, you might be able to reshape the cap better?

These are pics of a few and how they were worn...

- Landa wears two type of Waffen SS Schirmmütze vizor caps in the film
- The first cap he wears in the movie is more a crusher type of woolen cap. Kinda floppy looking as they would take out the inside wiring of the caps, with the ss eagle and Totenkopf skull badges being the sewn on types. (This is the cap on the HT figure) (FYI the Cyberhobby cap is actually wrong)
- Later in the film he wears another cap, a more dress type. A stiffer cap with the metal badges and a silver bullion chord.

I think your spot on

The hat is floppy but it tends to bounce back I tried my best to get them sides to stick down naturally through futzing and what you see is the best I could do

I do think your idea of super gluing a wire along the ridge on the inside is a very good idea and possibly something I will try as I am sure this will get the results you can see in them pics you posted

Did you try water treating it? I was thinking of trying it with mine, not sure if this has been proven futile though...

I actually prefer my hat the way it is over the way the SS would wear them according to your pics

Landa never had his like that especially in my fav scene with Perrier LaPadite which I have kinda modelled mine on

Can sort of agree where the negativity is coming from, traditionally the crusher is really syled down at the sides like the pics above but Landa never really had his like that.

Honestly the hat in hand is a lovely piece and I am sure I will mess around with it just a shade more but not alot

Aldo's head looks really big in pictures too but in hand is the one best head sculpts. You can even see it in Teddy's pic. Cameras aren't always nice to these poor figures.

That looks great. I think the Landa may need a touch up or re-positioning of the eyes, other than that, swell set-up, great collection!!!
