Actually if like in the pic you make his left hand a fist and bend his elbow slightly, it may not be so bad?

If anything, the pic shows how bad we need a slightly smirking face. :(

Yeah you have to keep in mind that the real pic, his shoulders are less slouched and his hand is in a fist. Easily fixed by working the pose.

Either way, his proportions won't be PERFECT to the real life actor... they're probably just using a narrow truetype. It's minor enough that I don't mind.

This figure looks great but when the hell are HT gonna make a scarecrow(cillian murphy) from batman begins if ever.

This is random... :lol

I started thinking the legs looked too short. I looked up an image on Christoph Waltz and lined up his features to see. The arms are much too long.

You do realize that the figure is in a different angle, and you scaled Waltz's pic wrong, right?
:monkey1

An obvious scientific test! :lol

:lol

:cuckoo:

wow its an action figure! a higly detailed one no doubt but an action figure nonetheless. it's not like he looks like he has monkey arms. :lol

Idk, inaccurate arm length just isn't something that I look for when I see a figure :lol im getting my aldo raine in about a week and Landa he will go nicely :) with that said, I'm excited about this figure

Even if his 'arms' or whatever are shorter, they ain't going to redesign a whole new body, just for a regular human being character so his 'arm length' is accurate!

If you think this figure is bad take a look at Leonidas. He has true monkey arms. But still think he's bad ass. Just have to pose around it so its not as noticeable.

Indeed. An extra smirking headsculpt would have been nice especially considering Hans' dosn't have a lot of accessories.

I really like this figure but with Berserker Pred comming out at the same time, I may have to wait. Luckely I don't think Landa will be one of HT's super sellers so hopefully I can pick him up at a decent price later next year when my plate (hopfully) isn't so full.

:cuckoo: :lol riiiiiiiight and when will this "plate not being full" thing you speak of happen exactly?

I just put down almost $400 for the Lion-O statue and let's see next year we'll be getting Captain America, Thor, and Green Lantern all in the theaters which will probably translate to HT figures....for me....GAME OVER MAN! :horror

How many sculpts has Jeon Young Tae made for Hot Toys? I've never really heard of him.

Me either.

But is every sculptor they have korean? Even Enterbay... I just find it odd that most of the known sculptors are korean... does Korea have some sort of sculpting school?? Interesting...

The Bear Jew was awesome but give me Hugo Stiglitz any day! BJ was used as an interogation threat, Stiglitz was absolutely ready to blow some heads off at all times. You couldn't pat the guy on the back without him getting thisclose to snapping!!!

Stiglitz was the baddest basterd!

:lol indeed. At the moment however the only things I plan to get for certain next year are Falconer, Tracker and Classic Preds and the T1 T-800 (assuming it's out by then) of course I guesss that could be considered a full plate right there :lol

Well here's to both of us finding kick a$$ deals in the future to keep costs down so we can get all we want!

Not every, but most of them. I can think of a few HT-contracted artists that aren't Korean -- let's see, there's Joseph Tsang, Andy Bergholtz did a couple for them, and Kojun...maybe. :lol

Well said my friend :duff

Apparently sculpting is quite the industry in Korea. It is also incorperated into their cocuriculum since primary school

I must be a bad Korean. I can't even sculpt a pile of ____ :lol

Hollywood and Basketball... USA!

Starcraft and 1/6 sculpting.... Korea!

(No offense Darth Fatso... Korea is the size of a state... I'm pretty sure Korea's got more to offer than Montana) ;)
