Are you talking about yourself in the 3rd person?

Anyways, I think we all had ups and downs. Chatting with old friends and making new friends. Fabulous, albeit GENEROUS contests and hilarious mini-movies (still laughing about Klauder's Flabio/Thor - man, Klauder, you have balls the size of small moons bro! :rotfl). Then there were the downs like the constant beating us older guys took in the chat contests from those fast little bastards who won repeatedly :)p) or the anticipation of tearing through the website, meticulously and systematically, for HOURS for some hellspawned code/gift card, only to find out that you didn't win :banghead. From the two The Dead variants (people complain but last year we only got one, also a variant, the gray Spokesman) to the whole conspiracy and tantrums, yes tantrums surrounding the SSE Franky vs. Wolfy dio (it was automated guys, give it a rest ). I have to say, Sideshow, I tip my hat to you as this was one of the best Spooktaculars yet, proving that not only sleep, but having a life outside of Spooktacular is for the weak as well. :D :bow Many, many thanks and here's to next years! :duff

Now about that Zombie Priest......:tap

You have that right to say what you fell surrounding the SSE Franky vs. Wolfy dio as you call it. However you have to understand where SSE Collectors are coming from. I am a LONG TIME collector of Sideshow's SSE Monsters & All but one of my SSE Monster Collections have a missing or missing items due to too low of an Edition Size.

lol Predacron wow

what's up with the 3rd person? too much candy and spooktacular huh?

You know what happens when you get too full of yourself?:

Look, let down, betrayed, etc., I know how you feel. I felt the same about Patient Zero. Saying I'm a zombie fanatic is an understatement. But I wound up paying $300 for a $50 figure because I "needed" that piece in my collection. I wasn't there when he was released and couldn't find him on the secondary market for the longest time. When I did, I bit the bullet and paid. It's part of collecting. It's what we do.

Seeing as how the motto is "Sleep is for the Weak" and we all know things are posted at all hours of the day and night, you should've been vigilant, especially if it's something you wanted that badly. Expecting Sideshow to release it when YOU want, at a time that's convenient for you vs. others, is a bit absurd and downright selfish. It's harsh, but it's the truth. I'm more than certain there are people worldwide, in all the timezones, who could argue that very same thing. If someone in the EU was just as avid a collector and missed it but you got it because they released it at 10am your time, you'd be saying the same thing to him that I'm saying to you.

But the bottom line is that it's part of the game. Scoring that easy piece for your collection is just as much about collecting as having to hunt down that rare one that you missed. If you can't deal with that realistically, as much as it may hurt, then maybe you shouldn't be collecting.

All I am saying is you never see Sideshow do this with the color Monsters Just the SSE Editions & Faux Bronze Editions. Why?

Something you should rightly expect if chasing the harder to get limited editions. Venting is one thing. Expecting is something entirely different. Smaller editions, especially rarer limited editions, like this particular SSE, should be harder to get. The whole thing behind the SSEs are that they're smaller, limited variants of their color counterparts. It makes them all the more special. Are you saying they should just screw over everyone else but you and never throw the EU a bone? Never reward those freaks who wanted it badly enough to actually stay up until it was posted?

yes but the color should be the variant because these films are Black & White NOT color.

Welp, as a first timer, i'll admit it was intresting. Didnt win jack....but still.

I had the best Halloween of my life....im glad I didnt spend it on spook....no offence who did.

Well, that's an opinion. While some, like myself, might actually agree, it's a small part, a more hardcore part at that. It's a fact that it's harder to sell a black and white version over a color, especially at the larger edition numbers. I'm willing to bet that this is why Sideshow has chosen the SSEs to be the variants with the lower runs.

WOW! What an EXCELLENT Spooktacular it was!

Chris and Dennis and Alex and Mike (am I forgetting anyone?) were GREAT in the chat. Especially Chris, who spent more hours there than many of us combined.

Fantastic, generous prizes as usual. Sideshow really goes out of their way to show their fans that they value them. We value you too, Sideshow people! The hard work you put into what you do clearly shows, and we all had a GREAT time! I can't wait till next year!

The people that like Black & White are not able to get their item but the people who like color are? thats not right.

Really?! It's not Sideshow's fault nor anyone else's that for whatever reason, aspects of your life prevented you from being there when it went up. While it no doubt happened to others who wanted it badly, still others who also wanted it, got it. I like the SSE variants and I got one, so did MadCow and OzzFan as well and every other individual who ordered one (still haven't seen any flip-listings on ebaY). While some woke up early to get theirs, I waited until it was posted and then crashed after I'd ordered it. Which, if you wanted it as badly as you're claiming, is something you should've done, yourself.

Shift the blame, refocus it all you want, you made the choice to be anywhere else but online when it went up. You knew the run was going to be EXTREMELY limited. Criswell Predicts warned that not only was it going to be "extremely limited," but to stay "vigilant" which should've told you that at some point between that video and the next video going up, it was going to be listed. Watch it again if you don't believe me (here). Bro, it's nobody's fault but your own. Sorry.

This was fantastic - thanks to all the SS staff who made it so much fun. And I'm glad to have gotten the chance to get to know more of you. This is a fun hobby that we must be crazy to have this much passion for - but it wouldn't be possible without great companies like Sideshow. We appreciate you showing the fans how much fun we can all have together. I for one will continue to be a patron for the fun and awesome time I've had this last week (other than they make great products!).

So Happy Halloween to everyone.

That is a very poor argument. The point is we didn't know WHEN (day or time) the SSE Dio would go up. Are you saying I should have stayed up every night of Spooktacular to be able to order the Priest? Guess what, he never showed up! Despite the fact he was previewed well before the SSE dio or Leia.

It is Sideshow's fault for not following the scheduel they had last year. Chriswell would predict something and that item would go up the next day. Some times that happend this year, othertimes it didn't. I remember one of them was for the Priest. Guess what? Still no priest!

If something is going to be highly limited it needs to be a PPO or have an announced time, or at least sometime during the day. Sure the EU guys had a better chance at night, but I think a majority of Sideshow's customers are USA based.

So I agree with the Monster, it was Sideshow's fault. They honestly can't expect us to spend 24/7 on Spooktacular. The Monster missed out on what he wanted and I mine never even showed up. Scheduels are greatly needed.
