Just wanted to say I enjoyed this year's Spook - even if we didn't get a "new" Dead figure this time. I would hope that in future Spooktaculars that SSC would try to at least release one new figure alongside the variants. 2 re-releases of existing figures is fine, but would have been awesome to have something new to balance it out.

But - other than that - this Spook was a blast (I just got the shipping notice for the Iceman polystone I won) .. and I look forward to adding more Dead to my collection.

I had a great time this spook! Really was pretty damn badass, great work Sideshow!! And thanks to all of my chat buddies for keeping it fun. :rock

Great Spook Sideshow, I finally worked up enough strength to stumble into work today. :D It was a blast, as usual. I truly do hope all of the "faithful" SSE collectors get thier wish fulfilled on the dio. It was what I expected though, when SS says "Sleep Is For The Weak", I knew it would mean something crazy like this, they delivered on it so what more is to say. One hell of a time, and I can't wait to do it all over again!

You know, you really need to tone down the condescending insults. They reflect very badly on your own maturity.

As for your decision to leave the chat to take your daughter trick-or-treating, that example only proves how much you don't understand peoples' frustration. You knew (as did we all) that the contest was coming, and WHEN it was coming. They didn't announce that the contest would be coming sometime in the future, and then suddenly spring it on the chat in the middle of the night (Pacific Time) several days later.

Wow, you really must be good. You heard the prediction early on the 26th that the dio would be coming in the future, and you never left your computer for 2 1/2 days until it actually showed up in the early morning of the 29th. That's dedication.

Ugh.....you drama queens just can't let anything go..... Being a crybaby reflects a lack of maturity, not calling people on their self-imposed entitlementality. The milk is spilled. Don't stand there like some comatose moron, watching it spread and whining about it, clean it up and move on! If you don't want it anymore, fine. Move along. If you still want milk when you're done, go find another alternative! And don't condescend to me about maturity. I accept the consequences for my own actions and don't blame others. That's what's going on here. People were sleeping, chatting, doing whatever else other than checking the website when the dio went up and are blaming Sideshow for their failure to secure the SSE dio.

Sideshow, for whatever reason, decided to give an opportunity to the night owls (and loyal Spooks) here in the U.S. and/or the EU customers by releasing something that was more in tune with an EU time frame, and here we are, saying it should've been released on our terms, when and how we wanted, screwing them instead, and embarrassingly enough, looking like the selfish Americans that other countries labels us as. No single person in this forum has any more right to the SSE dio, than anyone else, anywhere else in the world. To say otherwise is selfish, demeaning, and downright disrespectful.

Yes, because that statement's just the epitome of maturity right there, right? FYI, I did leave my comp from time to time as life called. If I'd missed it, or The Dead Priest (who never made an appearance despite the MANY hours I spent online - yet I ain't cryin' about it), I wouldn't be here in the forums crying and yelling at Sideshow about it. It would have been my own fault and again, I would've taken responsibility for my own actions.

I remained silent about wanting to get a SSE DIO because Furystorm and The Monster were really really wanting one and I did not want to get in their way. I was on very early and Chris said I had great chance of getting one , so i got on waitlist. So far no conversion and no response from CS. If anyone gets one and does not want and wants to help out a fellow freak please PM me.

Avfin, have you been checking the order in your account? I didn't get email notification, but it switched over to an active order in my account on Thursday night.

You guys should start a thread with a Wait List conversion experiment like RoboDad (?) did with Vader. I'm sure he can walk you through it and it'll let you know how fast and in what order conversions are taking place.
 
ozzfan84---i checked e mails and my ss account info--no conversion yet---i was early--but chris said i had great chance but no promises
