The show sounded like the biggest X-Men ripoff ever from the beginning, so I never watched. My wife watched from the beginning and says she stopped liking it after the first season because "it lost it's catchiness". Whatever that means... :lol

The problem is that the ramifications of each characters got so out of hand that they can't tie them back together...
It's just a mess and the evil guys aren't that evil anymore... and the heroes aren't heroes at all... except for maybe Peter who tries way too hard...

I stopped watching this show at the beginning of the third season. I found it just plain boring.

I got about 3 episodes in this season and finally gave up on it, right around the time Clare and the roommate started kissing.

the answer is simple.

It's a TV show that is made for the general population/public of audiences, so its girly, yet masculine.

TV ROTS YOUR BRAIN.

I loved the first season and most of the second season. You can clearly tell when the writers lost steam during that season and they haven't been able to bring things up to season 1 quality since. With a lot of the others in here I've given up hope on this show and will no longer continue to watch... unless its on netflix instaque.

Because i m a comic collector, i have had some friends tell me i m too harsh on it, so it's nice to know that it's not just me.

Nah, its just a ????ty show that lost its way a long time ago. I'm sure the writers strike didn't help... but they've had more than enough time to self-correct and never did.
