How do you feel about Hot Toys doing second runs of Vader, Chewie, Han and Obi-Wan?

Great to see so many people happy at the rereleases, I'm all in favour of figures being reissued so everyone can enjoy getting them. I don't doubt they'll fix things like Chewie's dark fur or Vader's electronics, but although that's annoying I guess it won't be too hard to make the money back, for example by selling the original or parting out the new Vader and keeping the body. That sound you hear is the scalpers crying. Win!

I'm all for the re-release. I already have the whole lineup but I wouldn't mind snagging a Chewie head sculpt if they do indeed improve it.

I am also very happy to see the positive reaction this announcement has gotten. I think it's great that everyone that missed out on these can now pick them up at retail.

As a customizer, I hope this means that more parts will now become available. I would like to snag a couple more headsculpt's without being gouged by scalpers.

I'm with the majority and am ecstatic about the reissue and am glad that real collectors are getting a chance to own these great figures at retail price instead of having to pay the scalper/flipper/in it for the money crowd prices, here's hoping they all take a huge hit and maybe they will p*ss of and go extort someone else.

I already own all the figures except Obi-Wan and I couldn't be happier about it. All the people who missed out gets another chance and the scalper type people take a hit right where it hurts.

To be fair "we" don't have to pay scalper prices. Then the scalper sells for normal prices or returns the item to the store. Just a thought. It's kinda like blaming guns for killing people. Anyway, would be nice to have definite on this so I can set aside funds. US sellers aren't showing anything.

I think it's just a money grab by Hot toys. They could just come out with the next movie figures and the rush would change and the current prices would drop.

I got them all already. A second run is a 50/50 chances if they don't have the statistic.
And I haven't heard Hot Toys doing second run for other figures.

Since Sideshow cannot deliver Hot Toys product to my country, I have to find another source. And Amazon.co.jp still have a lot of Hot Toys Star Wars figures.
And I use Forwarding service connecting overseas customers and Japanese online stores [ tenso.com ] to forward this packages to the country I'm staying in. My advise for those who miss it. Grab them while they last.

I paid through the nose for the Han + Chewie pack, but I'm fine with a rerelease. A lesson learned and I'll probably pick up Ben now. I'm surprised they'd do reruns for these guys but not things like TDK Joker 2.0. I would have thought something like that, which is such a hit, would be much more in demand also.

"Waitlist" is there way of collecting the statistic. If the numbers doesn't meet there production "quota", this will be cancelled. This what happened to my 2nd order of Snowtrooper. I ends up getting the second snowtrooper from eBay.

Wasn't Stormtrooper Luke a convention exclusive though? I would imagine those would have lower numbers and no new runs. Any other convention exclusive have second runs?

The only figure off the top they did a second run of was Batman DX02 and that was for quality reasons. (leaky abs)

None that I can think of. Yes Stormtrooper Luke is limited, but I really don't care, I want the figure (for retail price).
