How do you feel about Hot Toys doing second runs of Vader, Chewie, Han and Obi-Wan?

Once I buy a figure, I hope they won't make any more. It's not that I don't care about other collectors, I just want my figure to hold its value or increase in value, in case I ever want or need to sell it. Still, I only buy stuff I like, realizing that most things won't hold their full value. I'm ok with that, but it's also nice to own a few rare ones to help offset the others.

I don't really care but I'd rather they focus on new Star Wars figures instead of doing re-releases. I got them all the first time around so it's whatever to me. I wouldn't mind seeing them do a re-release of a Storm Trooper since I only got one regular.

None that I can think of. Yes Stormtrooper Luke is limited, but I really don't care, I want the figure (for retail price).

Ok, keep the faith. They are still reasonable(less than $100 over retail) but I imagine when Han comes out they will go up more.

This is not a re-release. Chances are these are a few cases that a couple regions did not end up taking stock from and others got the remainder from Hot toys. Just be cause 4-5 shops are getting some figures in would not constitute a re-release. Popcultcha is getting a few additional cases of vader in they pre-ordered that a month or so ago. Its just left over stock not taken.

This is great news for those who missed out on these. I don't buy to sell, so glad others can enjoy these as much as I do.

I would have to be a big few cases. Every shop I have ever used has moved them from sold out to pre-order again over night.

Cool if true but it's odd for HT. With SO much coming out this year (BvS, CW, SQ, Xmen, Rogue One, etc) why take the space and time to restart a line for a few more sales. Seems like it would be smarter make some changes and make ESB Han and Chewie to make it worth the time and money. I have no idea, just odd when you think about it.

Don't care.

If they're improvements, I'll upgrade, if they're the same I'm happy other fans get to enjoy them.

I'm not a selfish child who demands items be "limited" so I can have some half-arsed sense of "exclusive superiority w00t". Pffft.

Not for the ones who bought the original releases.

Got most of the OT, see above.

I agree just makes me curious how many factorys HT has to be able to do reruns of older figures and still be able to do keep up with mutiple figure releases from all these films without losing QC.

I would definitely get han and chewie if they were re run. Darth vader looks a bit faffy though so I want to wait for an improved version of him.

Just got an email from PoPculture saying they have chewie, Han, Obi Wan and E-Web blaster up for pre order be quick.

E-web, really? What a price though, the retail price last time was about $150 wasn't it?

If they have it for pre-order they must be getting several. Wonder if we'll see the e-web over here, for $199 it looks like. Wouldn't that mean a snowtrooper re-release or new commander is coming? Or maybe a HT snowtrooper is on the horizon.
