Thanks for the responses....I was just curious. I am not dating nor interested in anyone in their mid 20s but curious how close/off the base my friend is....

I mean, I think over 21 is fine, the problem with the legal comment is that in some states the legal age becomes 16, which they are practically kids still, 18 is still young,
I think by 22 if you don't have some kind of common sense or at least some level of maturity maybe you shouldn't leave the house
I agree older ladies are usually more interesting, but sometimes younger ladies are more energetic

I highly doubt anyone involved is in it for love. Everyone is using everyone - so I guess as long as they all know the game - then who cares. But me personally, I find it kinda gross. I could never date or pretend to date someone who is as old or older than my grandfather.

My thoughts: After the legal age limit, it's no longer about age. After all, age is just a number. It's about who you connect with. Their maturity level and where they are in their lives at that point. People are so stuck on age it's ridiculous.
It's no different then dating someone who isn't your skin colour. Would you rather your daughter date someone their own age and skin colour, who's abusive, or some guy outside of their skin colour who is 10 years older, but treats her with respect? In the end, we would hope that common sense sees you pick the latter of the two options. Better yet, whatever makes her happy is what it comes down to. People will do whatever they want in the end, no matter what you say or do. The best thing to do is step aside, and hope for the best.
As long as respect between the two is reciprocated, and both parties are able and willing legal age partners, I don't see a problem. We have our own ____ (be it issues or other personal demons) to deal with. The focus should be on you (your own individual self), rather than focusing or being concerned with what others do with their time or who they choose to date. Again, focus on you. Not others. Don't judge as you certainly wouldn't want to be judged, yourself.
