HT 14" Predator full spec and hi-res pics

I just pre-ordered mine a couple of minutes ago.

I prefer the non battle damaged mask but also wish it lit up. I bet it'll be easy to just swap out the light up feature to the other mask so no worries.

Now gotta order Dutch and Billy!

The panic was justifiable. If the Ex. version were in small enough numbers, not getting in last night could cost you a chance to get it, and when it came time to order last night, we had no facts other than it's out there, get your order in while you can.

I was thinking the same thing - hopefully shouldn't be too hard to swap, or better yet, replicate by getting some LEDs.

Depends on how they do it. Since the bullet holes are gone, it's made from a different mold, could be that where the electronics go in the regular one are just solid plastic on the clean version. As far as the film goes, I think he may not have used the laser sight until after the damage, so it's film accurrate not to be made to light up, but for those not caring about that and just wanting it to wear the clean mask, it's a letdown that there's no light.

Well that's the thing, there never was any damage to the bio. In the film there's blast/burn marks on it, but there isn't any specific scene that shows those marks were from a specific shot in the film. First time you see the Predator uncloaked you can see the blast/burn marks already on the bio.

the only place i remember seeing that dent in his bio was on the kenner 2-pack figure.

I think I'm going to cancel my exclusive. I'm annoy that the bio does not have light. SS should have just thrown in a second clean bio version as the exclusive.

I'm sure there are talented artists out there who will quickly sand down and fill in the BD areas on the LED bio and perform a quick repaint.

I just don't understand why the exclusive head doesn't light up. Would have made more sense to me the other way around. To me battle damage damages things, so a light not working makes sense. But the undamaged helm is the one that doesn't light up. That just doesn't make any sense to me.

But I do have a question. Is there a masked and and an unmasked head? Or is the mask just a mask. And if it is, where in the heck are the batteries stored and what kind does it take? Those have to be tiny!
