Geez, so this new BB release really is something. I don't own any, so that's probably why I'm so impressed. The more I see it though, the more I'm 'wow-ed.'

It's really a great figure. I used to own it. I modded mine though. Stuffed it with cotton and resculpted the cowl and it turned out better than what you're seeing here (an unmodded one). Bu yes, right out of the box it's an ok figure. But you have to remember it was released years ago. hot Toys first batman begins figure wasn't so great either IMO

I like being new to Hot Toys. I'm basically 'wow-ed' by everything and with all of these new announcements, it's like Christmas in July!

Is it just me or is the final Christian Bale head different than the one showed in the first pictures?I mean in the first pictures it looked better,it look more like C.B but in the new ones idk ... it doesn't really look like C.B

Yeah, it's not horrible by any means, especially for as old as it is. It's just amazing to see how far things have come. Big difference between these two, IMO.

Wow, HT and SSC needs to hurry up, I want this badly. It seems that the faces were overshadowed by the Bale head when the first pics were released, but all of them look fantastic in those close-ups.

Man, hated that Takara Batman. And notice they aren't showing the horrible Ken Barbie Doll quality Wayne head that came with it.

Not a bad price. I think I got the TDK OC Bat for $141 from Toys2.

I think the Wayne head looks weird on those pics.
A bit beaky and penguin like. And too small on that bulked up body.

I agree. A lot was apparently lost in production, and that's most unfortunate. This will serve as a strong reminder to me as to why I wait for in-hand photos before placing an order. I thought Hot Toys had gotten pretty good at nailing the prototype in production, but obviously not.

Like I said when the proto pics were shown - the production paint is gonna be nowhere near the proto and so it appears. The JC Hong paint on the proto made the sculpt look even better than it is
