I bet you this same head sculpt will be reused in the Dark Knight Rises Batman figure. There is no way that HT would go through such hassle of approving a new head and just make it a small run like that. So whoever shelling out the cash to buy this Batman now just for the head will probably be banging their own head later....

A contact in the uk has told me he can get me one for a snip at under £400 ($750). I mean, wtf is going on, it's taking the mickey. Anyone know of another potential source in the uk?

Or re-release it with the 2.0 dx Batman Either way if you just want the head you should wait. Someone on here will sell theirs eventually and it won't be this mad of a price.

Haha dude there is no comparison between a mass produced figure which is sure to be available with some patience for close to retail, versus a run of highly specialized custom heads. Let's leave it at that shall we

CHRIST!!! what is wrong with people? That's way to much for a mass-produced head sculpt. Not to mention $230.00+ for the Wayne head. Don't most realize they'll likely be able to get the actual figure for less once its released by official retailers (SSC, Ami Ami, etc.)? Impatience is a killer of wallets apparently.
