Can you post a pic of the medicom next to the ht Indy?

Perhaps the discussion of Sideshow and customizing the sideshow figure should be left in the sideshow thread or the customizing Sideshow thread. This thread should only be about the hot toys figure those who are happy with it. Back to hot toys Indy anyone?
It'll be tomorrow, but I can tell you now that Medicom's 1/6 scale is a lot smaller then other Toy Companies 1/6 scale.
Like sw's example, you post an unflattering SSC pic with one of the most flattering HT angles around. Here's a more apples to apples comparison of the stock HT with an SSC repaint (my pics)--same lighting, same bodies, same camera:This...
Or this...
You could build a clubhouse, plan activities, and of course write questions for any prospective new members.
And it would be the only thread in Freaks like it.
We don't talk about that.
Medicom Indy. Such a huge disappointment.
The artifacts were the best things in that set.
Same with Young Indy. The Cross of Coronado was better than the figure itself!

I can respect that some like the HT version better, but the SSC sculpt is very good when treated the way it should have been by SSC's painters. Grove knows Indy.
I didn't know that pic was one of the most flattering angles around...that's my pic. Its the first pic I took of him when I pulled him out of the box.
I think what's going to happen is if Hot Toys ever makes another Indiana Jones it's going to be just like what's going on with the MMS T2 T-800 Arnold and the new DX10 T2 T-800 Arnold. Even if the DX looks like a young Arnold, it looks more like him then anything HT has done so far.
I think the next Harrison Ford head sculpt they do will be spot on, and eveyone will be able to pick up the head and change whatever it is they don't like on the current Indiana DX.
The 30th Anniversary of TOD is coming up in 18 months...
