Wow, gotta say I much prefer the Medicom here.

The Hot Toys neck joint is way more obvious (even though Medi's is a bit off) and the clothes look much lower quality.

HT's Jack is nice, but I like Medicom's much more, I'm glad I just got the Medi Jack and for a great price too!

Yeah, I prefer Medicoms more. Though, I do like the look of HT skin tone.

I like the sculpt better. But I don't like the boot color.

All in all, looks close enough to the Medicom not to worry if you own one already. I didn't get the Medicom, so this HT is of interest to me.

What I'm really waiting for is their Davy Jones... with poseable tentacles.

The shoulders look way to "built" for Johnny, but the outfit and accessories look more detailed and abundant, depending on the price, I may get this and mix and match the Medi and HT to make an ultimate Jack. HT skin tone does look more real, but the expression on his face looks awfully stern/mean, that's not Jack really, even in the heat of battle, he's not determined looking he's, well, Jack

I like the Med better, outfit is insane... this HT is good, it may need a repaint but it's more affordable... so I say go for it.

But a Med Jack with FML Repaint is Museum Quality.

hm. if they'd have used real hair and pleather boots (they might be but don't look it) then the HT woulda won me over. as it is the Medi wins. as Wor said, i hate the boot color too, and the hat looks too big so it can accommodate that huge ponytail on the side of his head. the paint on HT looks a lil better. sculpt for Medi was great as Dark Artist's repaint shows. just the paint is off.
