Looks very nice,but I'm happy enough with my Medicom version.

I don't own a HT or Medicom figure but is HT still slightly less smaller than the SS figures and does anyone have any pics with neca jack head on the Medicom?

No HT or Medi figs!?! What a lackluster life you must lead.

HT figs are generally the same size as SS figures. Their Stallone is a little larger than normal. HT Supes is a little shorter than Rambo/Rocky but no shorter than the normal SS 12" figure. Medicom is of course the baby of the bunch.

I have the Medi version, but am interetsed to see how HT is handling the straps on the belts and the gear. I love the Medi outfit, but the belts, etc. look too plastic-y for my liking. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the SS LOTR figs with their little simulated leather belts and straps...I hope HT goes that route for their Pirates line...Might have to mix and match!

Wow, gotta say I much prefer the Medicom here.

The Hot Toys neck joint is way more obvious (even though Medi's is a bit off) and the clothes look much lower quality.

I agree 100% with this statement.

Not sure if I will pick it up yet, will need to see more/better pix.

Absolutely! I doubt Hot Toys got the license to just make one figure, it doesn't fit in their mo. I think we can expect many more POTC Figures from Hot Toys. I hope Sideshow can carry them!

The likeness isn't perfect but the outfit and accessories look stellar!!!I'm definitely adding Cap'n Jack to my collection.

Yeah, The likeness looks off... but a repaint should fix that. The costume looks 100% better than the Medi. The belts and accessories hanging off of them look to be higher quality, and those plastic belts killed me.

I'll probably snag one... knowing me.

What I iike is that his sash is worn out, that's one thing I'm not much a fan of on Medi, it's too brand new, and with the price tag it had, I'm not going to damage it to get the look.
