This is a great figure, but just way too expensive, imo.

Expensive as he is, I am strongly considering getting two. On CNN earlier, they had a segment about several thousand people doing the Thriller dance at once to break some record.

I'm beginning to think that this figure will, in fact, be Hot Toys' biggest and fastest seller yet, period.

Me too! But it's unlikely; I reckon sometime around 15th next month........though how cool would it be if they released it for Halloween on Sat? They did release the DX Joker on a Saturday, hmm.......

The HT Oct newsletter mentioned bout the release date. So I guess chances are they are releasing this Sat, the latest. If not then I guess like what you said, next month.

I just pre-ordered from razors edge collectibles for $179.99 ,they're saying due first quarter 2010 gives some time to save up for and get through Christmas.
