HT making Symbiote Spider-Man

Really? ..people still can't see that a Tobey sculpt would ruin the suits neck seam!
..and think about it, given this is the black suit the sculpt would have to look emo/evil ,how sad would it be if our first and maybe only Tobey sculpt was his emo look!

I'm not buying it yet, if that were the case.
I'll just wait for the v2 symbiote spidey with movie accurate costume that will be out 6 months after this one

The suit itself is made of the same material, lycra, that the red/blue suit is made of in the movie. There are several differences however.
One is the obvious black material and sinister looking symbol design. Two is the more elongated narrower eye lenses. Three and most important is they screen printed the honeycomb design over the entire costume instead of having it thermo printed into the fabric. It's actually an overlay of shiny silkscreen material that gives it it's shine. Then of course the rubber web design glued on over top of the suit.
So it's not actually a wet suit it just looks wet because of the shiny silkscreen printed on it.
I know it's hard to see because of the quality of the picture but to me it looks as if the honeycomb pattern has a shine to it. Otherwise how would we be able to see a black on black pattern?

The only feasible reason to do a sculpted head would be to include a Tobey sculpt I really hope that is the reason or this is just a dumb decision by HT's.

I don't think its a sculpted head . I think they put the seam in the back , look it still has a bump on the chin and you can clearly see the seam on the bottom of the neck. Just IMO

Not gunna happen , Hot Toys are too cheap , even though they give you 2 set of hand peg with every Truetype . That would be great on the Spidey figures considering i broke one of my pegs the day i opened it
Also, for the symbiote Spidey release, it would be nice if every hand had it's own wrist peg
Or make them easier to remove.

still prefer the fabric but will still get this if they decide on this route for the actual production.
The sculpted headsculpt kinda makes it look like a cheap Hasbro figure.
