If this has the head swapout capability I think it furthers the chances of a "battle damaged" Spider-Man in Red/Blue with Tobey sculpt.

Also, looking at this it seems clear to me that there isn't anything different about the black suit other than color. It's not a "wet-suit" texture or whatever.

Yeah true, but to be fair.. that pic is more of a promo shot, wouldn't you say? On screen - unless my memory is shot completely, the suit does have that rubbery tar-like appearance to an extent.

Also, the costume has a rubbery feel to it. While the proto on HT's is polyester/cotton like.

Yeah, I brought that up earlier.. it doesn't just look like the red suit dyed black. I'd say the prototype figure will be close to what we're getting though - if not entirely.
