All of them likely had most interest immediate after their death (or component members' death), and that eventually died down somewhat. Now, Beatles memorabilia will be released that some will buy, and some won't. Doesn't mean the Beatles aren't insanely popular. You need an example? The first HT MJ release wasn't very popular. The figure sat at BBTS and elsewhere. Then, he dies, and the stock dries up immediately, and now is super-expensive because the supply was so low to begin with. His death spurred interest in the toys, and will continue to do so. You release an MJ toy in 5 years, and it will be about as interesting to people as this is to the general audience:
