Love the pose on your Celtic
oooo,eee... :D me too! He's amazing from the front view:

I'm planing to make custom dioramas\bases for all my Pred.
And even started working with that... ^_^

Also, I think that soon we will bunned out for our off-topic. :D

BTW, HT Aarrrhnuld looks pretty scale-accurate for me.
It's the Predator who is not enough tall. :(

Awhile back I picked up an extra one of these, and sold it, then regretted that move. So, I just bought another one. This is the only 1/6 scale figure I have felt a need to keep an extra of. It is probably the coolest figure of this scale in my collection, but still. . .this is completely irrational. I don't want to be one of those guys who collects an extra that sits in a box never to see the light of day, but like I said, I feel this compelling urge.

Damn it. Screw you, Predator.

I have two Predator 2 figs-bd is unmasked, regular is masked; 2 Wolfs-Cleaner kit is unmasked; and I have two of the same Predator 1 figure so I could do the same with him. I know how you feel.

Also, could someone direct me to a tutorial on how to mod the Predator 1 neck? I tried to search for it but couldn't find it anywhere on the board.

Some close-up shots of my HT Pred:

The quality isn't quite the best; it's an HD camera that, at the time, I didn't know how to program to take better pics. Still, these old shots are pretty good at showing some closer poses.

I really love this guy. Problem is, his left knee joint is a tad loose. A quick snap takes care of this, but it's weird. I've seen others who had these problems. At least he still displays just fine. The knee issue has no effect on his ability to hold a crouched or walking pose.

finish work

hello friends
from the original helmet is very big head and very bad fit
get leave the original helmet face forward
I think ill get reduce these effects. reduce the size of helmet
achieved a perfect fit and his face aligns with your body.
and also more acurate to real helmet.
change the inclination of the eyes. more vertical in the display. The original is leaning forward.
and I sanded all the excess material and changing some proportion

I hope you enjoy it and thanks

do you have any side by side pics?? that is awesome man, reali notice hot toys short comiings now, not that i dont like hot toys but WOW!!

Fiinally got around to redoing mine.

Repainted the armour to a greenish colour, filled in the helmet damage, extended the neck with a washer, converted a grasping left hand and added a modified 'Dutch' base. Phew!

Good thing is, with that neck mod he no longer looks like the runt of the litter!

Awesome group shot, I just need the P1 & maybe a custom Gort or another custom predator to finish off my collection like yours too :banana:chew

The green armor is one of the few changes I still need to make that I want to make at some point. I had thought about resculpting the mask as well. Reforming it seemed to accomplish what I was after though.

I don't think the neck lengthening is really necessary. Sure it makes him roundabout the same size as the other predators now but I think the neck just looks unnaturally long with the extension. The huge biomask was the problem making him look like his head was mashed into his body - not the actual length of his neck.

I disagree, at least in relation to my particular mod. Can't speak to others.
