Yeah.. the first person I seen do that was some dude on YouTube named TenZony. Not sure if he's a member on here (or if it's you.. lol). He did up his Wolf (both actually, Reg. and Cleaner Kit) with beads. He used the beads from the AVP Elder spear though for one Wolf, which looked the best imo. He used regular craft store beads for the other ones. I noticed after he did it everyone started doing it. I think it looks cool. Not something I'd do with mine personally.. but I think it's cool to be creative like that. Great work!

Thanks. Looked that guy up. Those spear beads were a good idea. I've never seen anyone do it before though. You have any pics for ideas?

Like someone else said, the original sculptor (in this case, Narin) get's his work ripped off, and some other douche bag profits off of it by offering a lower price, usually, with lower quality. Sometimes, the buyer doesn't know any better and might think it's an original, and with flashing, holes, and parts that don't fit right, that could turn them off to the original maker.

When I got my Narin Huntress 2, I got VERY lucky that they guy on ebay I bought it from knew who the painter was, and knew of Narin... he took his time explaining to me how he got both kits (mine was painted similar to another) and overall, made the experience very pleasant for me.

The only reason I bought from him, and not Dan, was honestly, the paint scheme was VERY cool and it was from Narin himself, to the painter, to the seller. Now, I'm really thinking about getting my hands on that Chopper in the 'collection' thread. I needs more Narin.

Everyone here talks S*!T about recasts and most of the people here have bought recasted S*!T....I dont get it...All of a sudden everyone jumped on the "no recasters" bandwagon...

What I've noticed is, if someone recasts a small, independant artist (such as Narin) people have a fit and cry foul. Yet, when people recast products from big companies (like HT, etc.) people have no problem supporting that and purchasing said products. It's a huge double standard.

Well see main, There is a difference between what I am doing and what Tnzony did. see, I am recasting from a multi million dollar company, and he recasted from a small business man.

Now, i know it's still, in the end RECASTING, but like D to the triple 6 said, IT'S A DOUBLE STANDARD!

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't every single Aliens/Predator piece made by Narin illegal anyways because they're all "fan-made" NON-Licensed products? Technically he's in the wrong for selling his sculptures too.. because it's not his property to sell in the first place.

I'm not quite sure man. I guess, but does it matter if they are his own designs? Like, he has taken the idea of the predator for most scultpures, and altered the looks of them to be somewhat different from what we've seen.
