How can you say that if you have no proof and comparing two different figs, Original to TDK. Lots of factors can come into this, strong lighting from the store. As for the cape, to some degree it's easy enough to make it look like its softer, but not that much when its nowhere as soft as the Takara.

My local HT dealer got their latest batch of TDK bats in and I can verify that there is no difference between this latest batch and my first batch TDK Bats. And before someone jump on me for making a simple harmless observation I will point out that I did not have my bats on hand with me to compare but having owned my TDK Bats for more than a month and looking at it everyday next to my laptop (am I am on the net a lot), I think it is not crazy to think that I can tell obvious difference between batches by now.
It's the same with my OC batman. Looking at it everyday for months it's just not too crazy to think that I can tell the difference in skin tone in the new batch eventhough I did not have my OC bats on hand to compare.
Like I mentioned back then, my room light is a single fluorescent source and the office where I saw the OC bats also has a single fluorescent source. Both of these fluorescent are the daylight variety so it's also fair to say that lighting condition for my room and the office is pretty similar.

i dont see any differences at all, except possibly that ^ but you can do that to the original by popping hte chest in, so who knows. i dont think HT would make changes on such a mass production thing, and THEN, not let people know about it, officially anyway

yeah i dont think it matters, the first batch looks so sweet anyways, if the second batch came with sonar lenses then i would be pissed but the difference is unnoticeable

No one is jumping on you Mate,just discussing the possibilites because changing the tone on the second wave OC is most unlikely,i dont see the point why HT would do that.
Remember,a new rubber figure looks better than a figure that has been displayed a while and dust starting to attach the rubber,makes the black tone fade a little if you know what i mean.

Are those styrofoam? Being a mask collector one thing I've been told on multiple occasions is don't display latex masks on styrofoam heads as the styrofoam eventually rots the latex. I'm not sure what the HT Batsuits are made of but I do know they are a type of rubber so I'd be carefull putting anything made of styrofoam on them.
You should either make or get something like this foam to put over the metal wires/rods.
Of course it would have to be much smaller, but you should get the idea.

I wont be using anything on the stand(s) they'll just be gently leaning against the prongs.

did anyone get an answer from HT anyway about the Slimmer TDK version?I know its not different,just curious what HT said because they didnt answer my email and if this wasnt true wouldnt you think they would at least responded saying that this is not true?

Apparently, someone here said that HT denied any changes on the figure on the phone.
I checked out the latest batch of DK bats at my local dealer and it looks exactly the same. Even the supposed different colour of the chest armour is the same as my first batch TDK.

Guys i got my bats yesterday and could not resist taking it appart.
I gave it a smaller chest and the tak cape but is is all true the chest peace is different it is the normal chest and i think batch 1 was the mustle chest.

It's really hard to tell, it could be just an illusion of the paint job, because the shiny parts made it look chunky to other people.
I honestly can't tell if it is or isn't. It actually looks the same to me.
Can those with the one late September, early/mid October tell any difference?
I have noticed this is an angle thing, but I want to make it clear in case the bandwagon starts again. I am not criticizing it, and very happy with this. I will not be modding it, never had any intention to either. Only a simple question.
