yeah you dont have to push it down, might hurt his crotch

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

@voudoun: Do you really think, that this would be really possible with the dry paper? I don't know, but man, it's really risky. :D

When I look at my batman, it just hurts, when I see the head. It's a gently shiny place but it's there. The chest isn't such a big problem, because with the right light, I don't recognize it.

I don't know if I should try rubbing it gently or just buy a new sculpt over ebay.

I've used it on other surfaces which is good for just slightly roughing up that smooth area. Making the paper wet helps, it wont take much to get rid of that shine. Since the scuff marks is really only the smooth surface.

I agree with mr.thrifty, this conversation keeps coming up. Even the original costume thread it came up so many times. I've never had problems with the stand. At times the legs are just barely leaning against it. No pressure involved but all that is required for to keep him steady against table bumps and so on.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I didn't use the stand, after realizing it put some pressure on the inner thigh of the suit. Don't want the rubber to be pressed ot of shape. So happen my TDK has decently sturdy ankles, so he stands well as long as I get him balanced. Glad his boots got really good surface contact with a flat sole, not like some of the other Hot Toys boots that has a curved bottom.

No problem, I never use the stands. :)

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Is there a way to bend the stand or is putting some kinf of cover on the bar better??

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I doubt it,it looks the same.Same puffy suit...

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Agreed. This figure is so weird, after seeing like 50 different pics i'd say no 2 look the same. IMO of course.

I'll be interested to see these Figs side by side. The 2nd wave does look slimmer to me, maybe they used a different body?

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

yeah im sorry guys i was doubting the mod by HT but seeing these pics im sure they did

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Guess I'm fine, i honestly can't see any difference, I'd have to see it side by side to tell, if there's changes they must be subtle.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I'm quite surprised they never put protective plastic over the boots like the original. Considering there is wire going over the boots to hold him in...

What about the Original suit version? Has there been a 2nd wave of that?
