The T is shutting down at 2 pm here!

I'm gonna be stuck if I stay for the presentation I was invited to!

Think I can catch a cab? :panic:

Could have totally went to work today but no one is even emailing... Guess everyone just wanted the day off. Not even rainy out there I think I'll take a walk amd get some fresh air before rhe rain starts.

Even if you catch one, doubt they'll take you too far afield. Mebbe get a ride to the nearest rental car place then get outta dodge!!!

Am watching Weather Channel right now and it looks like this sucker is gonna go all the way through Ohio, WVA, etc., with potential snow storms in the Appalacians (instead of the rain due to colder mountain air).

I'm back where I'm staying, hunkered down, and ready for a spooky night of howling winds and creaking houses here in Cambridge.

Speaking of spooky, I'm gonna go chat now. :D

Thank goodness Keith! And your wife didn't need the extra stress of worrying about you being 8 months pregnant.

Tell me about it. At least she was home with our daughter. It hasn't gotten bad yet but it's expected any time now. I hope everyone else is safe and sound!

Big storm hits down south "awe thats too bad" same storm hits up north "omg it's the worst storm ever". Relax, be smart, and stay safe. People need to use common sense and they'll be ok.

Stay safe freaks!

Be safe all

For your collectables and statues and put them high and away from flooding water

Just got back inside, neighbors roof shingles started to blow away, all over the street now.

No school or work tomorrow either. And the Long Island Railroad (which I use to commute) will start their cleanup on Wednesday.. Yikes :panic:

sent me home from work at 10:30 today. so bring it on sandy. all my freaks stay safe and secure your collectibles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh. Sounds like my old a-hole employers. Worked in the business office of an NYC hospital so we had to follow hospital rules (you come in no matter what). So they'd have us commute in (most employees lived in Jersey, Brooklyn, SI, etc) and then dismiss us early into blizzard conditions when all the trains are delayed and over crowded.

When I rule the world, this will not happen. And my army of lions will make sure of it. :lecture

Get home safe!

Dammit I wish you ruled the world. I too ,live on the island of long, but am at work at a NYC hospital and am trapped here til 8....of course they are closing all the bridges at 7.....:slap
