Well..... starting to get some power problems now. Half of my apartment is now without power and resetting the fuses isn't doing anything. I think I should turn off my computer .

It's raining cats and dogs in DC right now and there are some pretty impressive sustained wind gusts. Where I live there is not much danger of flooding and I understand our power lines are buried plus there are no big trees nearby. I have to admit though when it is this rainy and this windy I do start to get nervous about having a skylight.

I've got fresh home made pizza laid in for tomorrow (good hot or cold) and I plan to spend tomorrow watching dvds or I'll figure out something else if the power does fail.

Sorry to hear some of you are having issues. Here in hells kitchen it's not even raining really. I have my window open chilling out with a diet soda watching The wire on my ipad. My lights have been flickering a bit since 6 though.

North end of SI is in bad shape. My mom is on the south end where it's not as bad. But the news footage of Midland Beach is scary.
