This didn't really need its own thread.
look through his history... very few of his threads need their own thread

Well for me the diecast isn't so much the static look, but the whole engineering of the figure. Just look at the articulation they're getting on the new War Machine, and they're getting that with metal joints. I'd be after the old Marks if I could have that much flexibility in poses.
Maybe for them it is a good thing? That post didn't say you're all suckers, that post said they personally weren't feeling the original lineup in plastic and are optimistic for a potential set of armors in diecast, given what we're seen so far, and they were happy they didn't go ahead buy a bunch of armors they themselves didn't really like in the meantime.
Well, good for him/her. I'm glad I started collecting them when I did, in their apparent over-priced plastic inferiority, and I'm glad I've been able to enjoy them for the last few years. I'm glad I was able to be a part of this community and embrace the anticipation for the last several dozen releases, despite steady price increases, and read and discuss both the relevant and irrelevant details ad nauseum. I'm glad to have watched the steady increase in quality and design (mostly), and I'll be more than happy to embrace new figures as they're released and as I'm able to afford them.
And it's pretty bad manners to come to a party at say "I'm glad I came late and, in my opinion, everyone here before me was wasting their money and they'll probably regret it".

Seriously, though, it's in poor taste. The other thing, and I mean no offense, Boba Debt, but I think it'd be better if you just conversed about stuff like this in existing threads, rather than started a new one every time something occurs to you.
Good lord this isn't even an exaggeration I'm not sure if this guy is a troll, or just pretty rude and oblivious because a lot of his threads are rude honestly.look through his history... very few of his threads need their own thread
If they don't release Marks I - VII in Diecast then what?
This. And the resources that HT would need to procure to make the entire line again for a possible non seller. I rather keep my plastic marks. The only one I could really see myself getting would be a die cast Mark 1. That would be sick.
you could always collect play imaginatives

And how we're all immature yet somehow he isn't based on how uptight he's getting over some guy getting mad over a spelling error. Which is majority of the internet along with getting a ban warning in some thread.Love how OP talks about "fodder" filling threads, yet his thread is exactly that...
Basically you will wait around 2-3 years minimum for something that may or may not come. Worse, they may only make 3 of the 7 and quit. Then you go mish mesh figures and collections together while missing out on ever enjoying them. Plus if you want an HOA who knows what acquiring that would look like in the future. The only bad fig currently is the mark III, but for my uses I do not mind what so ever. May be different for others.
But for now........
You can wait, I'll enjoy this.

I wasn't a fan of diecast previously because I figured HT was using it strictly as a me-too gimmick and that it's only purpose was to add the heft some collectors seem to covet, but they've totally exceeded my expectations by actually incorporating it in a way that improves the figure. It's obvious a lot of thought went into the design and engineering of these diecast figures, so it just seems obtuse now if you're still ranting against it. You don't even have a reason to dislike it, anymore, aside from just being a crank.Die cast is little more than sucker bait.
Just like stuff from a few years ago seems antiquated now, in a few years, all the current stuff will seem quaint and basic in relation to whatever's next. That's the nature of the hobby. Enjoy it for what it is while you can.
