I cancelled my Speeder bike and Scout

The main reason I cancelled was the base. I was hoping they would do something that would fit in better with the rest of the piece but the base was
just uninspiring.

I feel the same way about the base.

I foresee this being offered on second chance like Boba Fett. It's just really expensive and there are a lot to go around in my opinion.

I cancelled this a while back as well. Too big, too expensive. I saw this at SDCC. It's an impressive piece, but not worth the $800 price tag, IMO. I'm still holding out for the PF Stormtrooper. I want that one more than the biker scout.

I haven't cancelled mine either but I may. It depends on what I'm willing to sacrifies for it. At present, I'm leaning towards sacrificing this item.

ebay will be the way to go if you want this piece. This piece already lost value, its way overpriced. The edition size turned alot of people off.

I'm still considering keeping mine as I have a lot of stuff on order, plus with The Thing PF coming out, I will have absolutely NO room to fit the speeder bike.

In the end, I may have to let it go.

A good and simple solution there Dart, think I may copy that idea,
I think a lot of people are dissapointed, esp after GG did such a clever job of theirs 'floating.'
$800 is a lot of cash, but the 1:1 busts are $600, not too much less consider how much statue you get with the scout! imo

Don't forget that this is two feet tall and three feet long. This thing is huge!!! Of course that does bring the problem of how and where to display something that big into account.

Not really. There have already been a lot of calcellations. It will be on 2nd chance for a long time I think.

And along with those cancellations, there were probably several people on the wait list waiting for good news. I doubt that there are so many left over at this point that they need to worry about a second chance right now. A lot of cancellations will happen when it's ready to charge and ship, and I think that's when the leftovers will show up. I agree that this will not be difficult to get for anyone who is interested and has the money.

They may be sold out at SSC, because the EU retailers have bunkered this item! Like I said before in the other thread, I know a guy that had several of these Speeder bike scouts on offer. He used to have 4, if I remember it correctly, and now he still has 2 left.
