I cancelled my Speeder bike and Scout

SSC should have made this a 1/6 figure instead of PF scale. Sure, the presence of a huge figure + vehicle is attractive, but with 1/6, you can get a lot more fun out of it without sacrificing the details. Plus you can get more poses too. not to mention getting other figures to ride the speeder bike.

If SS doesn't adjust the ES of this item they will pay the price. These things will sit right there in the warehouse next to the Boba PF and Luke/Yoda PF exclusives. There is just so many other items you can get for $800 and that take much less space.

I also think the new pictures actually make the product look a bit awkward and less cool than it did before. May be is the new base or something else. I can't point down what it is.

Of course the Hasbro version is actually fairly decent, should you desire a 1/6 scale version of the scout on speederbike. And it'll be about 1/25th the price of the PF

I was on the wait list and it converted to an order yesterday!! I have the perfect spot for it also and think it will look great with sith anakin pf. (I know, 2 different movies and times but they'll be the only starwars PFs that I own) :chew

Wow,,, that is really really weird. Within 5 minutes of me asking the question if it will ship, I got the email from SS about my flexpay order.
I've never done a flexpay before. Does this mean that this item is available now?? If so, I'll just call SS and have them charge my credit card the full amount! If it won't be available until March, I guess I don't care if I'm charged monthly.

SS should adjust the edition. Its there fault. They annouced a super rare edtion, then all the flippers jumped, next the edition is 1500, and now everyone cancels, leaving me who wants the piece to have to cancel and get it cheaper elsewhere. If they didn't make that annoucement I bet the edtion would of been no more then 500. I wonder how many orders there really are for this?

I Caved and went on the waitlist (flexpay option) It just converted a few days ago. I'm guessing shipping will be a killer, but after seeing a few prices here, I think it will still work out about $200 cheaper from SS. I have showed the other half . I didn't mention the price. I just said it was expensive. Not game enough to be honest yet.

Went down to the local hobby shop, grass will be easy and cheap to put around.
Only $4 I guess it will do. Theres also other colors and styles.

gutted to say I just had to cancel my order. Too much coming out of my account with the final Master Replica Star Wars pieces. I really hope to pick this up at retail in the UK cheaper a little while later.

I bet it's one of those pieces that hangs around for ages that no-one wants and then suddenly gets scarce, just as I go shopping for it... damn this addiction. I'd give it up but I can't.

Trust me..there will plenty of these around the Sideshow warehouse for quite a while..Too expensive, and too big an ES.
