Actually I tried to get Rory (the guy that worked on the film)
to or ask some of the other guys he knows, with no luck.
Rory worked in 2nd unit production and didn't do the modeling.
I also looked around at all the prop Dragon stuff from Reign of Fire
and there was one of the models used in the film, but it was
13,900 USD, so I passed.

But Rory did say, Spyglass has one hanging in their offices that's
close to 1/6, if someone knows a good B&E artist that can grab it
for us..,

Well I doubt anyone is out to get you, IKE. If people aren't buying the figure there's a rational explanation behind it, whether it be perceived value, interest etc. And nothing personal, but ranting in your own thread isn't going to motivate people, or further their perception of your professionalism.

That being said, I think you did an outstanding job on the figure and dio, and I'm a bit surprised at the lack of bidders as well.

Your right, I should have kept it in PM and thanks for the comment.

I guess because there was no preception of value,
just people, who knew the price point,
telling me that they were getting it
and others telling me they wanted it but can't afford it.
And the 1 bid so far came from the latter...

I'm just so used to the figures I make normally going
right away for the buy-it-now and I thought this was my
best effort to date. It's the whole "artist thinking every new
project is better than the last" sickness

But It's a crazy mixed up 1/6 world we live in.

I agree that most bidding happens near the end of the auction. How many people are watching the auction? That may give you a better indication to what might happen. The only other thing I can think of is that it is from an older movie, so the interest may not be as high as say the Dark Knight or Transformers.

The tatts and weathering are sealed, but the vest fit is tight, so it could and most likely would rub off the tatts little by little.

Plus, the oil in our skins is like acid and would help the process
along. Because there is almost no way to put the vest on and
off without touching the tatts in some way.

I think that's the way the pictures are. The head is standard HT size.
But as Maglor said, the head was a little high on the neck, but I fixed that and didn't update the pictures. If that's what you talking about I
can add the pictures to the listing.

Here's some 360 degree pictures of my DX version Van Zan(AKA: regular version) with an unpainted head on it. Also it doesn't
have the arm tatts or weathering on it yet.

Sorry about the sucky lighting, I'm at a small desk and it's nightime and
there is only a small desk lamp here. Also, I don't think all the accessories are pictured either.

He comes with more hand sets (not pictured) a customized DX stand
with the LED lights. They're all on a modified HT Perseus body and
have an engraved numbered name plate & COA.


Also, I'm doing one more battle damaged one for a friend of mine.
I'm using that special ghost casting with the translucent red under
the skintone levels. When he's done, the battle damage will look
completely realistic.
