You can tell everyone who was a kid in the 80s is in charge of alot of things nowdays. Just look at clothes with the skinny jeans and crazy colors. Also all the old 80s television shows are getting redone like Transformers,G.I. Joe and Miami Vice. We also saw an A-Team movie recently.
So yea I kinda think the "80s" are back.

Actually, I think the 80s were back, but now nostalgia is moving toward 1990s stuff as 80s nostalgia crew is getting a bit long in their respective teeth. Which sucks, because the 90s sucks.

Cruel Summer reminds me not only of the great song it is but of when I was younger and training (Karate) as it was in Karate Kid (not the crappy re-make).

Heh, it looks pretty mellow compared to todays acting. In fact it looks less nuts than the way the majority go on in the present day. When you hear the crap like xfactor and such that I never watch.

It been a long time since I had heard that and probably even forgot about it. It brings back great summer memories. It's got a real positive go get it beat to it. Quite motivating.

As for listening to them forever, I think it's because the richness of the music back then. I don't know how you can describe it but there's a really rich warm tone to a lot of them compared to modern day music. It just never seems to get old.

All true and very well said , I hate most of todays music, it's either sales made by shock value, the whole sex sells attitude or teeny boppers.
Alternatively they just remix an old song. I don't watch x factor, Idol or any of those silly programmes either, I do however think Kelly Clarkson has a lot of talent and she one it once didn't she?.

Rap and R'n'B have pretty much been killed off thanks to most of todays music, no substance whatsoever, imo.
