I love Marston when he's a bit dressed up and kicking ass.

Haven't even started looking for clothing yet.....may need to find a customizer who has some skills with sewing - because I sure don't.

That's a great look for Marston too Jen! For your outfit for Marston start with the pinstripe gray pants from the Iron Man Tony Stark Mech Test figure at the link above in my previous post! I love this character and really want to do it justice...and I know my skills are not up to par. So I got someone lined up who I know will do an amazing job.

Same here Deak. I posted earlier in this thread about the Mech Test Tony Stark pants at Toy Anxiety. I got them yesterday. What hands did you buy? Aldo Raine gloved hands? I also got that gray long-sleeved Aldo Raine shirt from Toy Anxiety. They have some great stuff there! I picked up the John Connor Terminator Salvation "final battle" dark gray "weathered" jacket. I think it will be perfect for Marston's cut off jacket he wears over his long-sleeved shirt. I also got the John Connor red bandana that I'll put around Marston's neck as seen with his normal outfit I'm making for my figure.

How much did all of that cost you with shipping, Lord Vicious?

I've been talking to Steve in e-mails the last day, and he said I needed to let him know exactly what I wanted as far as a rig for my Marston figure. He said he would get back with me with a price quote. He also said he'd be back in his studio on Monday.

I want to get the same things you got. The pistol belt with the pistol holster, the bandolier, and the special U-shaped gun cradle holder for Marston's back. I also asked Steve how much a standard "cattleman's pistol" and a repeater rifle would cost. I hope to hear back from Steve on Monday when he returns from the weekend.

I know Steve's handiwork with be worth it. I just got to get the money together for it all now.

I bought the BR Joker hands and yeah the Aldo Raine gray shirt. And that's a good idea for the bandanna.

Yeah, that John Connor red armband was on Toy Anxiety's site for only .79 cents! I couldn't pass it up. It looks all "weathered" and worn out, so it should be perfect for my John Marston. I'm hoping now that it fits around the neck post! I'll find out soon when I get the figure in from Toy Anxiety that I'm using for him. One of Sideshow's Star Wars Endor Troopers with the brown gloved hands. I'll paint those gloves black, to match Marston's gloves of course.

Anyone gonna try for a Mexican Poncho Marsten? If one were to make the base Marsten costume you could throw this on for an easy costume change. I have been looking for one but they seem not to exist.

That's a cool idea too Hirogen! I considered that. But first, I'm building his standard outfit. Then I will get a nice "oiled duster" coat from www.ajclothiers.com. Then I may get the poncho later on. But yeah, I'm sure 1/6 scale Mexican ponchos are very hard to find...anywhere!

Hirogen, you can find a few of the 1/6 scale cowboy hats from Newline Miniatures over at www.toyanxiety.com. The black hat there would be a good choice for John Marston. But remember that Sunohc is going to cast a hat on the head for us. The hat won't be able to come off of his head, but I know it will look great! Sunohc NEVER disappoints!
