Is the Stevo rig available yet?

Watch out, the rig and bandolier don't get made in bulk and then made 'available', you have to put an order in with Stevo and pay, and only thén you are put on the waiting list and your order will be made when your name is next...

I got in most of my John Marston outfit today from Toy Anxiety! Here's some pictures of it on the Sideshow Star Wars Endor Trooper body I'm using for it. I will of course "weather" the outfit some more. The Hot Toys John Connor Terminator Salvation dark gray jacket came "weathered" a little. I cut off the sleeves, and started to cut up the edges at the shoulders like Marston has his that way. I will "fray" or cut up the fabric at the shoulders some more to get it like Marston's look for it in the game. The long sleeved shirt with the rolled up sleeves is the shirt from the Hot Toys Aldo Raine "Inglorious Basterds" figure. The gray pinstriped pants are from the Hot Toys Iron Man Tony Stark "Mech Test" figure. Wow, they're perfect for John Marston! The boots are tan "weathered" cowboy boots made by Newline Miniatures that I got on Toy Anxiety's site. I will "weather" them some more, and likely make them a little darker. I got the red bandana on his neck from the John Connor Terminator Salvation figure. I actually cut the bandana in half to make it thinner to fit the neck better. The brown gloves came on the Endor rebel trooper figure, and I'll repaint them black. The head sculpt is the Endor rebel trooper's head sculpt. It will have to "stand in" for Marston until we get the great head sculpt of John Marston from Sunohc! :)

I don't have any guns for him yet. I plan on getting a "Winchester repeater" rifle, and a Colt "Peacemaker" pistol from Stevostoys later on when I get the rig from him, and the back U-shaped rifle cradle/holster, and ammo bandolier. I've already bought a big Bowie knife from Stevo that I'll get later on with the Marston rig stuff. I may get the Aldo Raine "leather" satchel, or use one of my Indiana Jones brown satchels for my John Marston figure. I got the body, and the figure stand, and all of the pieces for my outfit from Toy Anxiety. Thanks to them for parting out great figures where I could choose the John Marston outfit to put together!

But hey, it's a start! I think it's looking pretty good so far.

Yeah, I got him on the list of awesome painters here on the board. Thanks! :wave I have seen his work, and I really LOVE it too! :)

No I haven't seen his work...yet. Does he have a thread here on this board? Please post a link here if you know about one. Thanks! :wave

I want to check out his work. :)

The jacket looks pretty good. The pants look a bit tight. I'd like to see all that stuff on a TrueType seeing as how it's all Hot Toys clothing, the shoulders look really broad.

Yeah, I really want to get a standard True Type body for my John Marston. So hopefully before Sunohc's head sculpt is done I'll have one by then! This Endor rebel trooper has broad shoulders. Seeing the pants on this figure in person, they are not that tight. Yeah, it is all Hot Toys clothing since it came from the Tony Stark Mech Test figure (the pants), and the Aldo Raine (shirt), and John Connor (jacket with cut off sleeves, and the red "bandana"). :)

looks really good Mike! but I would rather use a truetype body.

now you need to get that jacket from Project-Are :lecture

Yeah, well this Sideshow Endor trooper body is a "stand-in" or substitute until I can get a True Type. I hope to get a regular TT body before we get the finished head sculpt from Sunohc.

Which jacket from Project-Are are you talking about that I need? Is it this "black denim jacket"?

Please post a link to it here for me, if that jacket is not the one you're talking about. Thanks. :)

The pages about Boot25's work on head sculpts? Yeah, I did! Awesome! Another great painter on the board! :wave

Hey, psung4ever...what jacket are you talking about? The denim one with the white stitching that I posted the link to earlier? This one?

https://www.goodstufftogo.net/html/body_product1.asp?ItemID=4825

Or is it a different jacket? I think this jacket I got from the Terminator Salvation John Connor will work pretty well. The only thing that bugs me is the collar. Since the Connor jacket had a zipper on the front, the jacket zipped up to almost under his chin. I'm trying to make the collar lay down now, like it does for John Marston's jacket with the cut-off sleeves.

Oh okay! :slap I got it now. Thanks!

I'll try and order one of those soon. I appreciate the link to it. I guess this one will be more accurate than the John Connor jacket I was going to use. I just sent them an e-mail about it.

Well, I tried e-mailing Project-ARE last night, psung4ever. I saw today in my inbox that I got a message that my e-mail could not be delivered to them. :( Weird. :dunno

Do you know of any other way to contact them to order that black "cut off sleeves" jacket? I really want one for my John Marston figure. Please let me know. Can they be contacted through their website somehow?

That's a nice denim jacket but I think the John connor one works too. This thread needs more pics! How is everyone's Marsten coming along?

I have a shirt, jacket, satchel, pants...that's it.

that's really weird. :monkey4

last time I contact them at exactly that email, it works just fine.

you sure you enter the address in correctly? :monkey1

Here is the e-mail address that I used to e-mail them...

[email protected]

That's the correct one isn't it psung4ever? :dunno If it isn't please let me know.

Yeah, everyone else that has their outfits coming together please post pictures of them here. I think I was the first one so far to post my John Marston outfit "work in progress" on here so far. I'd love to see how everybody's is coming together. Even if you have to put the outfit on a "stand-in" or substitute body, it will give us an idea of how its coming along so far. :wave

Put your stuff on a body Hirogen so we can see it here, and take a few pictures of it to show in our thread.
