When the Alien in the Drain took Newt too the Hive and Ripley went back for her that would of been the perfect time to Hightail it off that Planet

Really? I think she was one of the least annoying child actors in film. Not like she had to say much.

Stop trying to connect these two films. Keep the story stand alone.

Try to make is as different as the other films, and not a carbon copy. No Marines. Some new kind of team. Space cops...or something. We've had Marines, we've had Space Jockies, we've had WY, we've had all that. Give me a new setting, new characters, stand alone, nothing that connects the films in anyway, other then the creatures themselves.

As for blind Preds, and 10 ft battle axe weilding things....no thanks. Sounds a bit too hokey. Why does everyone want Predators to be fantastical warriors, who carry around giant weapons, and kill everything in sight.....?

Predators are hunters. Stealthy, sneaky, hunters. They dont just charge into a battle situation, unless they HAVE to. Ala Predator 2. Now, they'll fight their prey if they feel the need to....but they're not William Wallace.

Sorry I shot down your ideas...but it seems like no one can fully "get" how to make this series good. It isnt about seeing new things, or crazy gritty gore, or even how many homages, and refrences you can shoddly cram into a 2 hour movie....its about the characters who are in this situation. Why do we care? Why do we want THE CHARACTERS, not the monsters, to win.

Also, about Newt...never hated her, but never really minded her dying in 3.

I don't know man... I think that would be pretty cool, to see them in an army/battle type of situation. Not as a major plot event for the movie, or anything like that, but maybe as a flashback scene?

ive grown up with predator since the age of 6 or 7 and ive gone through the stages. id class myself in between fanboy and realist at the moment.
