It's not that cheesy. The kids on the show don't know what to do with their psychic abilities, and these professionals are trying to help them sort through their emotions so that they can learn to live with their gift. I've only seen a few episodes since I forget which night they show it but it creeps me out and I like watching it.

That "psychic kids" show is awful IMO. I've never seen it but to tell a child they have a gift of talking to dead people is seriously doing them damage. It's the same as instilling an intense fear of Hell into a child. It's harmful because they will grow up warped and most likely self-righteous.*

There has never been a single case of a psychic solving a murder mystery or a missing child case. Ask any legitimate cop or detective. Not ONE. Psychics are bull____ and a waste of time in those situations. As though pretending they know things they can't possibly know isn't bad enough, they actually waste precious time of the police and the worried families. They don't help at all; they hurt in every instance.

I'm sorry, but when psychics are brought up I get a tad irritated. And that's all we need; dip____s telling little kids they have special 'psychic' powers.


*I speak from experience. When I was 14 years old a strange, spiritual woman I had never met before walked up to me, a few inches from my face, and told me I have a very dark, evil, powerful soul. I soon fell into a deep depression and started to believe her, so it became a self-fulfilling prophecy. Kids are so impressionable. You tell them these things, they're going to believe them whether they're true or not (and in almost every case, they are not true).

I don't know Cloud, the way I think about it is that you have your fakers and then true practicing legit people. I can't say that I've ever seen a ghost in my life but I have a friend that says if it were true you would of seen one by now.

I am skeptic to a point but at the same time still have the open mind of anything can happen and maybe there are only a few chosen ones that have this ability.

I did have a friend that had a house that was haunted and we did experience some messed up stuff there that to this day I cannot explain. So I do believe in spirits that is for sure. The rest of the stuff well, I cannot say, never dabbled in it nor would I ever want to conjure up a Shadow Demon of any sorts so I'll keep my distance and let anyone else that wants something like that attached to their all ready short life deal with it.

Anyway, do you guys honestly believe that all these shows are real? I'm always skeptical about these kind of programs. Better to experience it yourself than watch someone else, I always say.

I don't believe everything from the shows because it's just that a show and of course spin offs, ratings and memorabilia but what is out there could be possibly true.
