Love the face sculpt on Padme but the rest of her doesn't appeal to me. I'm going to wait and see it in person before any decision is made.

Compare the quality of this figure with the upcoming Elisabeth Swann...
(ok there will be a difference in price)

This figure I see in the hands of a 6 year old girl and not on the shelve of a collector.

Sorry

Well it is sad to see so many people disappointed with this. I wonder what the water treatment would do to this figure. I bet we could get it more form fitting.

Ok you can start making jokes now.

The body and the tailoring need help, sculpt is great.
In other words, par for the SSC course.

Since she is freezing cold, ILUM Padme, they really need to use the nipply body.

This one looks like something Hasbro would put out. Not the sculpt, but the piece as a whole looks cheap IMO.

Bespin Luke looked great, but this one suffers.

Natalie Portman's face with Angelina Jolie's MASSIVE LIPS!! Looks a little colagenated to me...but not too bad. My only complaint...for something that took almost 2 years to deliver...it isn't that good.

Hope the real product head sculpt and paint looks the same as the prototype.

So far as I know, this bunny won't out until early 2008.

It seems like if they fixed the seams at the legs, and did something about the cape, she could be a cool figure. I wonder if she'd fit her clothes better if there were no seams at her legs, or if that would even be possible. And I think the cape should fall more heavily on her, and have a bigger hood, and have better fluff. They could probably get away with a better color than baby blue for the inside too.

I just hope she hasn't seen her last trip to the drawing board.:monkey1

The sculpt is pretty much spot on. especially looking at that comparison pic from a few pages back (and to those saying the nose, eyes, eyebrows were in the wrong place.... the portman photo was taken from above, whilst the SS sculpt was not... that makes the difference in pics)

the sculpt is great (well done trev) the figure overall seems good, I think when it's been seen in different lighting (Sideshow pics do tend to have the worst lighting ever) I'm sure people will start to give more favorable comments about it.

It's good to know that have a good Portman sculpt they can use now for future Padme figures too.

Trev, fantastic job on the sculpt. I definitely see Natalie there.

But this figure just ain't my cup of tea. I'm just not into the whole EU thing.

The hands do look tiny. Could they be the new hobbit hands?

Natalie Portman sculpt + camel toe = me purchasing one for each room in the house :naughty:naughty:naughty

Oh,that's real cute *******.Why don't I pull my dick out of your girls ass and slap her in the ****ing face a couple of times. Now that's comeback...:chew:chew

Hey newb we don't need that ****, either shut up or get the **** out.

Not great but not bad. This isn't my favorite version of Padme anyways. I'll get it but I'm looking more forward to arena Padme and some Queen stuff of her.

The headsculpt is great but the overall figure looks pretty terrible due to the body. Not a good sign for any upcoming figures of arena Padme, Aayla, Slave Leia, etc. Hopefully it'll somehow look better in person.

Sideshow I still love you for Bespin Luke but please get a new female body.

This isn't exactly a great outfit to try on any 1:6th figure. Serves those right that rigged the voting for this figure. :lol :p

Agreed. It's decent, but probably right up there with Yavin Luke. Knowing me though, I'll still end up getting her.
