I have a sneaking suspicion that this might have been one of the reference photos used for the sculpt:

And, when the sculpt is compared to that pic, it is very close indeed:

The mouth is a tad too big, the nose isn't quite the right shape, and maybe the eyes could use just a slight touch more slant, but overall, for a 1/6th scale sculpt, it is pretty good.

Trevor did a very, very good job here. The 12" collectors are a tough crowd, is all.

I just hope he gets to sculpt a Padmé PF (if he hasn't already).

I agree.. thankfully finally someone sees it like i do.I don't see portman at all(maybe the eyes)

I am looking at the side by side and I see why it doesn't work for me. The nostrils are completly wrong. The sculpt looks more like a pig nose. The cheeks on the sculpt also look droopy and aged. This looks more like the Sarah Connor figure than it does Padme.

But from the neck down looks bad, really bad.

I like the head scuplt but im wondering what she'll look like when displayed with the rest of my star wars figures. But as always, once i have it inhand it always looks better.

Brrrr.... that's cold! The camel toe is the least of the problems here... I have to hope for better pix, since I don't like what I see here. Is her suit really made of a vinyl like material? Put that next to Medicom's Rei or Asuka with a similar material for suit, but a much 'hotter' body (... or does anybody disagree?) and you see why I'm not really enthusiast about Padme for now...

Well, since the pics are from the proto, we can expect a SERIOUS improvement (unlike most of the time...). There's one more thing to be said. It's not fair, comparing Ilum Padme to other, more expensive 12" female figures. It just isn't. But it's understandable, or not?

I dont know about this one really, I hope it a bad photo, but it looks like the face is photoshopped in. The clothes need some work but that can be worked with too I think, but the way the head looks in the hood is just weird looking so far.

Yes they are, welcome to the SSF SW section, they are brutal, and NOTHING is every good enough.

Unless its Medicom and your a **********
