You realize it says Proto on the pics shown?

I'm truly at a loss to understand the hate here. The sculpt it fantastic, it's accurate to the source and apparently a lot of people wanted this version of Padme over a lot of more interesting characters.

The paint on the lips could be a problem, but it's the proto - we know the producton figure will have one solid color instead of the variations in paint we see in prototypes.

Let's keep comments constructive and refrain from personal attacks.

I know it says proto thats what I am affraid of. We all know that the protos almost always look better. I will still buy it because I am a sucker for this line. I think Sideshow knows this so they get away with a figure that never looks as good. So my fear is if the proto looks like this I would imagine the final version will be on par with Yavin Luke or worse.

I think the likeness is great, but the costume and the especially the blue danglee balls are a definite turn off.

SS knows the number and only post them later. Exclusives sell first and then are added to the total ed size. If she is unpopular maybe SS will issue her to be around 5k to give her some value and an exclusive run @1200. Just my opinion

The likeness of this figure to Natalie Portman is definitely off and just blows. Just look at the lips! Those are the most crinkly cracked old lady plastic surgery injected lips sculpt I've seen. Rediculously, horrendous looking figure!!! :anya2

I have a sneaking suspicion that this might have been one of the reference photos used for the sculpt:

And, when the sculpt is compared to that pic, it is very close indeed:

The mouth is a tad too big, the nose isn't quite the right shape, and maybe the eyes could use just a slight touch more slant, but overall, for a 1/6th scale sculpt, it is pretty good.
