Sure, Ill make you sure you get all the info Denny passes on regarding this project... Im just glad we finally saw something of a project which Denny had in the works since his release of Gordon.

Have the ACI General on PO and I'll be very happy to pick up a head sculpt. Not interested in a gladiator set myself, so that'll work out we'll for me.

I had no real interest in that ACI figure, but given recent developments (i.e., Iminime's sculpt) I totally want it. Seems sold out of the pre-order everywhere. Does anyone know how this company usually operates? Do they produce enough to meet demand?

On this release at least Bryan of ACI has said on the OSW board that the production run was going to be determined by POs.

I think Iminime has a better likeness success rate than Hot Toys. . .

axe, can you find out if this sculpt at least is definitely going to get released?

Iminime's most questionable sculpts IMO have not been from their in house sculptors, they've been from rainman.

Yup...

Can you imagine if Trevor would become a staple there? Trevor's sculpts + Dennys willingness to give fans what they want + iminime paint applications = GOLD

Well Trevor has enjoyed this first project, and already has one more planned, so I'm sure well see as many gems out of the collaboration as Trevor's crazy schedule will allow. :rock

I'm almost hoping iminime never goes "official". Unlicensed cuts out the red tape.

Limited to 1500 pieces. In all likelihood completely sold out.

Well there's good and bad. If they go strictly licensed, there are likely many less projects they can or will produce. We would never have seen any of the stuff they've done so far. Plus, licensed means mass-production, which means sub-standard (compared to their current quality) paint, tailoring, materials etc.

EDIT: Never mind, I totally misread your post. :lol

I want them to stay as they are. Hopefully thy can still grow the business. Eventually however they are going to want to sell more than 70 pieces.

How can ACI pull off Gladiator and Spartacus without a licence and with 1000+ pieces sold?
