How can ACI pull off Gladiator and Spartacus without a licence and with 1000+ pieces sold?

I think the reason is that the quality of the work is the big selling point. The attention to detail is impressive.

Well Trevor has enjoyed this first project, and already has one more planned, so I'm sure well see as many gems out of the collaboration as Trevor's crazy schedule will allow.

I wish the could revisit some of their previous work, just for a HS upgrade - Especially Ra's.

I think Iminime has a better likeness success rate than Hot Toys. . .

I asked Denny, and he seemed pretty confident that he will release atleast the painted sculpt.

Honestly some part of me suspects him not launching the full figure has something to do with ACI agreeing to supply their new muscle bodies for their Walking Dead project

best maximus sculpt i've seen. hope it sees some kind of release. head+outfit set would be great.

and i like rainman's ras. only one of his iminime sculpts i have in hand so i cant comment on the others.

Really? The walking dead sculpts are perfect.

And the se7en sculpt? Best Pitt in 1/6 by far.

Na i'm just messing with ya, although their Smith is a bit off.

Thanks. Based on that, I went ahead and pre-ordered one of the ACI figures. With the Iminime sculpt I think this guy will really stand out on the shelf.

I have the ACI General Maximus on PO since day 1 and would love for Iminime to release the Gladiator. Either way I want this sculpt. It looks fantastic.

Last I heard he would be offering painted sculpts. Not sure about a full figure...

Works for me! There's a mass produced Gladiator figure out there that would work for the outfit, but has a horrible head sculpt.
