What's the definitive Duke, though? The Searchers? Rio Bravo? True Grit? He had a ton of movies.

"Rooster" is obviously his most iconic Oscar winning character. But, truth be told, I can really only afford a head and his other 60's western characters are interchangeable and all get the same point across.
I don't know why SS concentrated on 20th Century military characters. I did'nt think the sculpts were outstanding either

But, Wayne is slightly more associated with Westerns and WW II Marine and VN Green Beret uniforms were plentiful at the time. Ethan, Rooster or Hondo would have been much more unique and identifiable with the Duke

I'm still waiting for my Cowboy to be released from customs :( It's been there since the 24th, and I'm really afraid that I will have to pay some ridiculous customs fee. Do you guys know if Denny indicated the actual value of the figure on the package?

When a figure is this good all is quiet besides initial happiness, it's when the figure has problems do these boards rock haha, Denny should see this as a huge compliment haha

I can definitely see where you're coming from; nothing compared to having the actual figure in hand. I actually was holding the DX sculpt up to a photo I took of it yesterday, and I was incredibly perplexed by how much my camera distorted it. It still is an amazing likeness in the photographs, but the lens distortion and saturation almost age it. With my phone (with the shot) in my left hand, and the sculpt in my right hand, it was like two totally different sculpts were being compared; crazy.:lol

When taking pictures with a phone, it is always a good idea to step back from the subject being photographed and then zoom in 1/3 of the way. That will eliminate the roundness of the lens that distorts what's you are photographing. ;)

Thanks for the tip, sir; I'll be sure to give that a try a little later this week.:hi5:
