What I'm asking is, are these heads planned to be part of a full body release? If so, I wouldn't need just the head. I'd be interested in the whole figure when it's offered.

I'm just trying to figure out if this is worth it. The discount and getting to be on the pre-order list early are the reasons I'm considering.

Yes they are all full body releases, the free sculpts offered are sculpt onlies from full body releases. because nowadays Iminime doesnt offer sculpt onlies,so this membership is a great chance for some people to get the sculpt onlies they always wanted but couldnt get as they werent on sale

ax...sorry buddy...not being difficult but i'm just pointing out something out that stuck out to me since i work in the area contracts are worded....and from what i got from Denny's and your posts can suggest that there are certain controls that may need to be reinforced....

now you mention that shipping will be included in the final price after you give a discount but then in another line it says that shipping is free...i have tried to follow your example but then i keep going back to this line from the original post:

when i see the bullet points state that i get a 10% off and then another bullet states that i get free shipping...
then 100% of the time i'm going to assume that if i should pay 300 dollars for a membership...then i get all those

You are not being difficult, rather you have bought a very valid point. However you misread/misunderstood the freeshipping part.
The freeshipping if you see in the bullet points is mentioned ONLY with the 3 free sculpts. NOT with the figures. With the figures all you get is the 10% discount.

What he's getting at is they always make full figs. I believe the only sculpt that was offered "head only" was 007. And there have been a few times where they have offered HS seperatley from their full set releases. But their primary focus is full figs

While the Pulp Fiction guys are cool characters (I'm a huge fan of the film), with their plain black suits and tons of 1/6 black suits on the market from just about every company, not to mention several Vincent and Jules custom heads available, it just isn't interesting enough visually or challenging enough for high end custom makers like Rainman or iminime. I would much rather they devote their time and resources to complex, unique and challenging characters rather than simple, boring designs we've seen so many times before.

This is true, these guys are very bashable. But the definitive Jules and Vince aren't out there in a full run. And sure you can grab a TTL or whatever black suit. But I don't think products of that level can compare to the quality and fit of something like their Ra's suit. I doesn't even seem that EB's MIB suit came out that well.

And a silver .45 with a white(mother of pearl really) platted handle is extremely rare on the market. Like Dracula said, a lot on that list has been done but there's room for improvement, and a market for improved offerings.

If Beatrix is done, it will probably be done by that superstar sculptor working on the Secret Project. Yeah with their rate and with them hiring more members soon I see them doing 7/8 projects minimum in the next 12months or so...

But what I meant was, do you see them doing 7-8 projects in addition to this list inside of 12 months. If your saying that they're only doing 7-8 in a 12 months, then that list is what they have slated for the year.

My finger isn't exactly on the customs pulse, but I haven't been too impressed with any of the J&V bashes I've seen - with the exception of the one modified Headplay Vincent sculpt (can't recall who modded it) they've all been well shy of the 'Hot Toys' standard. Were Iminime to bring out this pair I'd be on them like a seagull onto a hot chip.

I wants me a 'Bad Mother F__ker' wallet in 1/6.

We're in agreement, but since iminime can only make so many in a year, there are better, virtually unbashable choices that will truly challenge the custom artists that would have a greater value to the buyer, at least in terms of their uniqueness and visual impact on a shelf, and should have higher priority, imo. There is, but its in Korean. And until they manage to setup their English site, Facebook and forums is the only way they can communicate

Levit05, thanks to your point, I clarified with Denny and he said that a VIP can buy as many sets of the same figure as he wants HOWEVER, only ONE of these will be eligible for discount.

I do agree with Enthropy to a point. A black suit is as boring of a suit as a man in a suit fig could have. And their accessories aren't exciting or challenging for an artist. I know what you mean about not wanting a team with great talent and limited time waste any on black suits. BUT IT'S J & V!!!! I think that the $$ is in the sculpt. They'd have to be the definitive ones or it wouldn't be worth the time. But these guys need top quality custom treatment. I need a 1/6 bad mofo too!
