I would say your free to say whatever you want...but you are also free to get fired from your national radio show for saying things that are ignorant and racist. He had it coming. Keep in mind that these were college kids who did nothing but play for a national championship. Though alot of readers here may not listen to him he does have a large audience. Here are a few other gems from Mr. Imus who has said sexist and racist things for years now.

He called Venus Williams an "animal" and said the sisters are more likely to be featured in National Geographic than Playboy. Rosenberg also has called the U.S. women's soccer team "juiced-up dykes."
