I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum, but I have the same issue with this sculpted hair as most (all?) of the other InArt attempts: it's just too thick. It doesn't look like fine, sixth scale hairs, which gives a chunky plastic look that (IMO) torpedoes the photorealism of the entire sculpt.
It’s crazy how much worse the sculpt kinks with sculpted hair. They look so flat compared to the rooted.
 
I preordered day 1 as well and no email yet. I wonder if they plan on sending out all the direct orders first and then send them to other retailers like Kit or send them small batches as well. We’ll see.
 
Think only people who paid in full got the notice.

Count yourselves lucky if you ordered the deluxe because they probably would've sent you a standard in this batch.

Sure, you preordered day one but have you ever considered if you're a first minute preorder? :joy:wacky

Hopefully the rest get their invoices soon. Funny thing is, I was fine getting my invoice much later as that was what I wanted so I can offset further expenses from the holidays.
 
I only paid the deposit up front direct with InArt. I'm not sure how my order was chosen for the first batch. Maybe just based off how soon I placed it. I think I ordered it within the first hour of it going up for preorder. I ordered the Premium and luckily got the Premium delivered.
 
I was within the first 10 mins of it opening but I did pay deposit not the full thing.

I didn’t order so fast because I can’t wait for this thing, I just got screwed by sleeping on Aragorn so I had intended to PO this time, and happened to be on insta when they dropped it that day.
 
I just received mine. I usually don’t open my 1/6 scale figures straight away, but due to the shipping errors I had to open it up just in case. And luckily I received the correct Deluxe rooted version.
 
I just got mine. Before I opened it, I checked the side of the shipper. I had to peel pack some metallic inart tape, but mine is the standard version as well. I sent a support email through the site. Did anyone get a confirmation when they tried contacting inart? Better yet has anyone gotten a response?
 
Zero response still.

They are handling this situation pretty poor so far.

Alright, finally got a response and they will do a full replacement and and cover all shipping. Annoying to have to wait longer, their wording makes it seem like they don't have more deluxe versions ready to send yet.

What about the copy that you have currently? Do you have to ship it back?
 
Wonder how this issue is going to impact other pre-orders since they 'sold out'. I'm sure not every person who got the deluxe but ordered the standard will return them. Wonder if it's bad enough they will have to produce more. What a mess they've created for themselves.

Yeah, they say they'll provide instructions or whatever. The only compensation they will give us is a discount on a future order (don't know how much yet).... or a t-shirt. Like you think I really want to advertise you guys with that shirt after all this? That discount better be like 25%+ or something.

Got two email from Inart one with apology and instructions how to return the item and the other email with return address to California address.

I'm assuming I send them receipt for the shipping since no return label was provided? Now gotta schlep to the Post Office. Ohh well, at least the issue is being resolved.
