Hi i'm Arthur
Picsart_25-01-18_23-13-53-299.png

My hands start shaking pretty strongly when I try to unbox the 4-pack. Not just because I fear the wife could come back any moment but because........I don't know why. So it will remain unboxed until my hands don't betray me and my wife stays with my mother-in-law over some weekend. Oh yes, I need to make sure the wife did not install a hidden camera somewhere.

let them lol im bashing my own figure and the flaws, they cant stop me. not like I'm bashing their figures

I'm sick of hearing praise after praise when issues are being pushed under the rug like it doesn't exist, but like many have said my standards are just different and I notice things more I guess
You should be able to bash whatever you want. Especially if you own it. I caught flack for that for years, but I always thought I was entitled to my critique and most of the time I think I was right in my convictions. I still do. B it that’s the way subjective opinions work I guess. I do find though that it’s almost human nature to want to justify something as being great and defend it rigorously especially if it’s something you spent a lot of money on. And there’s a lot of aesthetically critically people here l, you’d have to be to spend the money we do on these things. But there’s just as many people who are just psyched to have a little doll of their favorite guy with all sorts of accessories and that’s as much as it takes to make
Them happy, which is cool too.

But the take I’ve always had is make it better push the companies to be better and raise the bar. So I love it when I see something get critiqued things how you get someone to improve. I’ve just tried to be a little less bitchy about it than I used to be because there are more productive ways to go about something.

Most of the time I just take it and make it better myself to make myself happy with what I’ve got and to show what can be possible with extra attention to detail.

But I’m in the camp that loves this. I don’t know if it’s the perfect phoenix likeness either but I did a round up of all the custom sculpts and such out there and I don’t think there’s one that comes even 75% close as this one.

Still not the best photoshoot but i couldnt resist taking more pics, he looks so real. Only downside i came across where switching the arms, it was litterly a pain in the ass to get them through 3 layers of clothing, its a pretty tight fit. As for the sculpt and outfit i am very pleased with what i've recieved i definitely see Joaquin.

Yeah switching hands was annoying but I think it’s easier the second time because when you pull them out the first time, you’ve loosened up the sleeve cuffs already?

I felt worried installing the heads because you don’t want the collar getting in the way and getting pushed down between sculpt and body. Did you have a similar experience?

Second time was still annnoying aff🤣 didnt had any problems with the collar being pushed down by the head, for me it was pretty easy to install.

Oh no. Did you accidentally sit on one of the spare arms or strain a glute while doing so from the exertion?

If not then, no matter how annoying it was to change the arms, if your bum bum got through the process unscathed, there was no ‘literal’ pain in your ass.

Great photos btw- I just need the overuse/misuse of literally to die already.

Do i really need to explain that's a figure of speech (pain in the ass) anyway it was pretty difficult, but i still prefer these over the magnet pegs from Aragorn and Gandalf

K, so therein lies the problem.

‘Pain in the ass’ is a figure of speech. Correct. However, a figure of speech means it is non-literal, metaphorical, hyperbolic etc.

Prefacing a phrase with ‘literally’ means you’re saying that’s what genuinely happened.
The modern misuse treats literally as a substitute for adverbs that would convey a higher degree of severity, which is what people usually mean when they say ‘I’m literally wasting away.’ No, you’re just quite hungry.

You may currently be thinking ‘I am literally losing the will to live reading this BS.’ But no, you likely just find it very tedious, condescending and unnecessary, which it is- so that’s a literal statement.

To say it was ‘literally a pain in the ass’ is to state that it hurt your ass. Your ass incurred damaged from the process.

What you could have said is ‘It’s a serious pain in the ass.’
That’s still a figure of speech, now with an added adverb to emphasise the degree to which it irritated you.

Now, if you were walking and saw a beautiful woman you couldn’t stop staring at, then tumbled down some stairs, you’d be able to say that you literally fell head over heels for her.

Don’t worry, I also hate me for having just written all that.

Perhaps you right with that, but i assume that poeple understand what i meant becouse litterly pain in the ass has nothing to do with changing the figure's hands/arms. Might be if the person stuffing the arms or the figure in his ass... i higly doubt that but who knows, there are some weird poeple in the world. Thats why many products have warning labels on them for example dont eat this when its clearly not food.
So yes in a certain point you absolutely right but i assume most poeple here are not that stupid..... but again who knows for sure

You do you bud i dont mind. I found it pretty entertaining you taking the time to explain, you have a point.🤣

he does have a big forehead, sorry need to clarify but the hairline being pulled further back to where it looks bulging from the sides just makes it distracting to me. if they kept it normal/moved it forward then it would've been better

friend's work, we've been meticulously optimizing it

the purple pants he wears is only present in 1 scene, its when he gets fired but they deleted the scene of the argument between randall and him. but that scene was mostly medium shots, you rarely saw his pants in that scene. you kind of are left to leaked pictures

its hard to describe the material, but some suited custom clothing feels very silky and soft. it may not be poser friendly because its very delicate fabrics. many people who own those type of suits rarely pose their figure so they dont damage the clothing. inart chose fabrics meant for posing and wear/tear, its very coarse. its not about wrinkling per say but the presentation of the fabric but maybe I'm too critical to expect inart or even jnd to do that. the average consumer wants to play with their toy. I'm equally interested to play as well, but material just feels different.

i only have ropa's set for joker but the material shapes itself wherever you touch very easily. its not really good, lots of inaccuracies for that set too but the button on the vest was good because its meant to be transparent, but already ordered iris set so it should be coming in soon to see how it presents itself. material should be good, I told that tailor up to high regard from what many friends spoke about her.

Great, I can't unsee that poor hairline they've done now with that sculpt. That definitely is what's throwing it.

Haven't been sent an invoice yet but I'm debating on keeping this or not now. I think the Clown and Subway look are very, very strong. I think Fleck looks decent enough, I can't say I have much positive opinions on the red suit. Looks very toy-like, unlike the Batman I own from them it doesn't feel like Arthur is in that suit.

So for me, pretty much from when I ordered also it's the Bathroom and Clown look that appeal to me, and would probably move on the other two along with the dioramas.

Might just have to be the case of getting and and seeing how I feel in-hand.

With the orange knit-wear for Fleck the undersize of it looks mostly to be a futzing issue from some of the picture. It's bagged up above the collar, needs to be pulled down it looks like and then should go over the trouser waist.

I’m so thrilled for this EPIC post. I was literally about to explode from holding back my thoughts and literally was driven up the wall. If I’d held back my true feelings, I would’ve absolutely died from the pent up frustration….
