I haven't put together or taken any pictures of my 2nd one yet, but my headsculpt/hair turned out very similar to my 1st one. Hair is on the curlier side, but still looks good. Not as good as Rzeeznikk's 2nd one though. Definitely no guarantee to get one like that.

Thanks. Yeah I've been much more excited with this one than the first because of the hair and the likeness on this one is so much better. I couldn't put it down last night.

Before I was saying InArt Harry was in place or tied for FOTY, with this Aragorn II Harry has now dropped to 2nd place

If you can I would recommend gambling on a second. Wouldn't hurt and worse case if it's the same you could always sell it. I'd imagine these rooted ones won't be around long at these prices.

Star Wars is my #1 IP (mostly Original Saga and select Disney Lucasfilm) but I couldn’t imagine only sticking to Star Wars.

Especially cause that means one would only have Hot Toys products.

Lucky for me, its both IPs. Im more into SW but wife is a LotR fan.

Growing up in the 80s and 90s SW Original Triology has been the Holy Trinity of movie films for me. And there will always be a special place in my heart for the OT, but as I've gotten older I have grown more attachment to the Lord of the Rings. And to me it's been the peak cinematic experience of my life. The story Tolkien told and what Jackson and company was able to accomplish is brilliance to me. Watching the making of behind the scenes documentaries (which was also a genius move of the film makers cataloging the adventure behind camera) it really shows the dedication and passion the group as a whole had for the project.

Got my second Aragorn although the paint on the sculpt looks better the hair came all puffed out on one side but I ran my finger near it to push it down. Some bit of water and futzing wouldn't hurt to fix it.

Hi all, this sculpt is indeed unique, never seen so many variations with just the hair, paint and lighting. Seems like latest batches do have modifications. Glad everyone is getting theirs and seconds. I am debating getting a second. Mine is from earlier batches. Here is a poor phone pic. Excited for the overall Lord of the Rings resurgance lately with the Rohirrim movie, and Lego upcoming sets. Here's hoping we get the full fellowship. If I was Inart, I would putting the majority of the R&D on getting this set complete as soon as possible. Take care, all.
