Getting back to Indy.

Full leaked plot, allegedly. Just rumors. I don't know if any of this is true, but don't read it if you really don't want to be spoiled, just in case all this turns out to be true.

The film is set in the 1960's. Indy is nearing retirement from teaching. Phoebe Waller-Bridge plays Indy's teaching assistant. Three men show up at his office asking about three artifacts that he found back in the day. They act as fans of Indy. Phoebe asks about the artifacts, so Indy takes her to a museum to show her the pieces in question. While at the museum, a group of men show up, there's a fight and steal the artifacts. Phoebe shoots one of the man and Indy tells her, "Beginner's luck. " They pursue these men to some kind of Stonehenge structure, where the men perform a ritual and open the three artifacts, opening a portal. Indy and Phoebe go through the portal and go back in time to WWII. Most of the film takes place in WWII, having old Indy fight along young Indy. There are currently two endings being considered. Both endings have Old man Indy dying. Ending one, young Indy lives and teams up with Phoebe to help her get back to the 60's. However, the other ending has both young and old Indy dying. Phoebe Waller-Bridge picks up the hat and whip, picking up the mantle of Indy moving forward. Regardless of which ending they choose, there are plans for an Indiana Jones series to pick up the story where this leaves off on Disney +.

Saw this variation:

Maybe there is no old and young Indy fighting together. They are one in the same. I wonder if there's any true to the ending then. No way they can kill off Indy and give the hat to the girl.

These things do seem to leak out, so there's likely some truth in there.
There's another film title going around. Indiana Jones and the Order of Elysium. Another version of the story doesn't have any time travel, but it does have the worm hole/ portal opening. I wonder what's true and what's false?

Just looked that one up.

There was a report in The Express:

Indiana Jones 5 title and plot leaked for latest Harrison Ford blockbuster? WATCH

INDIANA JONES 5's title has allegedly leaked along with some plot points for the Harrison Ford blockbuster - although all should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Indiana Jones 5 continues to film in the UK while Harrison Ford recovers from his recent shoulder injury in a fight scene rehearsal. Just as with Star Wars, Lucasfilm are keeping the title and plot for the new blockbuster under wraps. However, recent alleged leaks could well have revealed the title and aspects of the plot, although the following speculation such be taken with a pinch of salt.

Mr H Reviews has gone over recent alleged leaks for Indiana Jones 5’s title and plot with his own sources, who he claims have been reliable in the past.

In a new video below, he admitted: “I have reached out to my sources and I was told categorically and I quote, ‘There are some half-truths in this, but mostly bulls***.”

However, he found the alleged title leak, a photo of what looks like the front cover of the film’s script written by James Mangold and Jez Butterworth, believable.

Supposedly the Harrison Ford blockbuster’s title is Indiana Jones and the Order of Elysium.

Mr H said: “I actually also think that could be the name. I don’t doubt that this here could be legit.

“In fact, I’m 75% certain. I’m 75% positive it could be legitimate. I’m not poo pooing this. I think this has the potential to be true. I do. I really do.

“But, after all, it is literally a piece of paper that someone has taken a photo of and it’s wound up on the internet.”

Mr H then considered a recent Reddit post which also claimed that the title is Indiana Jones and the Order of Elysium.

This description, which he goes over in his video, details that the movie begins in 1945 and continues in 1967.

Considering set photos of actors dressed in Nazi uniforms with WW2 era vehicles and Ford wearing dots on his face for digital de-aging, Mr H found this quite feasible.

He also thinks Mads Mikkelsen could well be playing a former Nazi scientist and Phoebe Waller-Bridge a British journalist.

As for the plot surrounding an ancient power source called the Chronos Stone, Mr H also finds this believable.

However, having consulted his source he doesn’t think it will be powering the Nazi scientist’s alleged device Die Glocke, to go back in time and ensure Hitler won World War II.

The reason being that his insider claimed the leaked concept art for Indy 5 is fake.

But Mr H does think that Karen Allen’s Marion and John Rhys-Davies’ Sallah will probably be back.

Interestingly, both Allen and Rhys-Davies recently gave interviews for the 40th anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark and were rather coy on their involvement in Indiana Jones 5.

Both have previously appeared in two of the franchise’s movies apiece, with Allen’s Marion marrying Indy at the end of Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Hopefully, it won’t be too long before the title and plot for the new movie are revealed.

Indiana Jones 5 is set for release in cinemas on July 28, 2022.

As an aside, I love how slick this forum is now.

Copy and paste is working perfectly. On the old forum it would've take ten minutes to clean up the pasted mess. :lol

Second ending sounds about right.....

It all sounds so awful it has to be fan fiction.

The only correct parts are the obvious -- takes place in 60's, opening in 40's, Mads is a Nazi in 40's and hunted into 60's, Phoebe could be a journalist or could be a student, or both. I bet she's British too. See, easy.

Time travel would be the worst. Order of Elysium sounds horrible, worse that Crystal Skull. What happened to the old-style adventure titles?

So Indy finds out that inside the ark of the covenant is a mother box and he is tasked with saving the sacred time line against the variant nazis

Interesting.

The Order of Elysium implies some sect searching for a way into paradise.

It's the ancient Greek version of Heaven. Homer referred to Elysium, or the Elysian Fields, as a beautiful meadow in Hades where the especially blessed could enjoy their afterlife in perfect bliss.

It does sound a bit airy fairy for an Indy adventure. :lol

No, I know what it means but it doesn't sound like an Adventure to dive into. No sense of danger or excitement.

Last Crusade wasn't a great title either but at least it had the word "Last" in it to make it sound final.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sounds exotic but again doesn't really present any sense of danger -- except maybe the use of the word "skull".

Raiders had the words "raiders" and "lost" in the title. Plus it was a wacky title at the time.

The Last Crusades made it sound like Indy's last adventure.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sounded like a pirate film.

Order of Elysium sounds like a 2010's Sci-Fi film.

They need to go back to copying old adventure comics, movies, and books tittles.

:lol me too

Its just not sexy, not adventurous and way too hard to say for kids. It can't be the title.

Temple of Doom is the ideal phrase for an Indy movie.
How about Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade of the Time Traveling Raiders of the Doomed Temple of Elysium? :D
