And the camera guy looks pregnant.
Isn't that Mr Spielberg himself?

Maybe SS will pull a Hasbro and cancel this figure. Would that make you all happy? Maybe they should just cancel the line too and blame the fans for lack of support like Hasbro did. Face it, it was never going to have the legs of Star Wars. If this line has only 7 figures like LOTR so be it. ANYTHING in addition to Adventure Indy is just gravy at this point. This was obviously a quick money grab like Ep II Obi-Wan that requires little R&D or manufacturing time to offer something to the fans unlike LOTR which had NO offerings for 9 months in between. Not every figure can be as intricate as Vader or a Stormtrooper and Indiana Jones is populated with normal plain human characters. You think German Indy is dull on accessories, what would Marion Ravenwood come with other than the headpiece of Ra necklace and a shot glass? I'm sure IF Marion is offered you will all complain how generic and dull she is. If they offer Indy in a tux or TOD Indy you will all complain of Indy overkill. Can this line ever really satisfy anybody? The answer is obviously a big NO.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Ep II Obi is the same headsculpt as Clone Obi and that the clothing is reused from ROTS Obi, or that your posts are completely full of s***.

I noticed it. Normally its not the biggest deal breaker, but considering its the ONLY accessory he comes with.......

You must really enjoy the taste of your own toejam as you constantly put your feet in your mouth. The sculpt of Obi was was actually commissioned for Ep. II Obi and re-used FOR the CloneObi. Not the other way around. Not only that but the lightsaber and belt were also done for Ep. II Obi with the lightsaber reused for CloneObi. The belt clip on CloneObi's saber hilt should've been a big clue to that.
FYI. The clothing for the EPII obi is absolutely NOT reused from ROTS. Entirely different fabric. Its also slightly different cut to match the AOTC look.
Yeah, I almost expect him to be shipped in a two part cardboard coffin box like the GI Joes from the 60s. Then you'd REALLY have to wonder where that extra $$$ went. How long before we get LC Indy with a new tie and machine gun?
You must really enjoy the taste of your own ^^^^ in your mouth to quote yourself in the same post. By your same argument that you can kit bash a German Indy for less than what Sideshow is charging you can bash your own Ep II Obi for less. Who cares if the fabric on the tunic is different. It looks relatively the same.

I ordered him. I can't argue that $90 is a bit much for what we're getting, but it's a version of Indy I wanted, and I think he looks good.
One strange thing I noticed is that this is slated for a 4th quarter release, which means there is no Indy figure for the 3rd quarter.
Going back on topic for a minute, people have complained about the high price of this figure, but doesn't that reflect the fact that the edition size will probably be tiny and/ or they won't sell that many of them at full price? If that's the case then I'm okay paying more if it keeps the line alive, as long as the quality is okay, although I can understand not everyone will feel that way. If this figure was going to sell 10000 and they priced it at $90, then I'd be upset.
SSC has a fullproof excuse built in when it doesn't sell well. They just limit the run and all the apologists can simply claim that because its so limited that they had to set a high price!
But the fact is, the run is TBD. So if SSC really wanted they could have priced this much lower, sold a ton and thus the low cost becomes justified.
Really, SSC made a selffulfilling prophecy by pricing it so ******* high.

Yeah I've noticed that too. So I guess this means no more 1/6 Indy figures this year
