Well, if this is an indicator that all other upcoming SSC figures are going receive another $10-$20 price hike, I'm out...seriously. I'll wait for my Vader, cancel everything else on preorder and use my reward points for something in stock and say goodbye to buying 12" figures from SSC. Just not enough bang for the buck in $90 BAREBONES SSC figures to justify it. Can't imagine what better figures will cost.

I'm pretty much at that spot, myself. I've been extremely picky (Stormtrooper) but mostly picking up older figures for cents on the dollar. (ANH Han, Leia, etc..)

Maybe SS will pull a Hasbro and cancel this figure. Would that make you all happy? Maybe they should just cancel the line too and blame the fans for lack of support like Hasbro did. Face it, it was never going to have the legs of Star Wars. If this line has only 7 figures like LOTR so be it. ANYTHING in addition to Adventure Indy is just gravy at this point. This was obviously a quick money grab like Ep II Obi-Wan that requires little R&D or manufacturing time to offer something to the fans unlike LOTR which had NO offerings for 9 months in between. Not every figure can be as intricate as Vader or a Stormtrooper and Indiana Jones is populated with normal plain human characters. You think German Indy is dull on accessories, what would Marion Ravenwood come with other than the headpiece of Ra necklace and a shot glass? I'm sure IF Marion is offered you will all complain how generic and dull she is. If they offer Indy in a tux or TOD Indy you will all complain of Indy overkill. Can this line ever really satisfy anybody? The answer is obviously a big NO.

I had absolutely NO interest in German Indy from the get-go, but the $90.00 price tag left me
At $55-$60 and it would have sold at least double the number of units. SS would have removed the single biggest gripe regarding this figure: Not much in extras for the price.

Lower the price: lower the expectations.
Raise the price: raise the expectations.

It really is that simple.

Lost cause. I don't think he even knows what his point was as it changed over the course of the last page. :huh :lol

Everybody makes good points here...
in reality, SS needs to make money, collectibles are a commodity,
we don't know what goes on behind the scenes, and ultimately SS is here to make money... not that I agree, but this is a Private Company... not a democracy!
I'm passing on this one, though...

This thread is getting interesting! :lol

The missile part is ridiculously small.

Missile envy Wor-Gar? :monkey3 But seriously I was into this figure until the $90 kick in the nuts price gouge. I don't get it, why the hike? This makes the baby Jeebus cry.
