The prophecy is that this thing will cap at a small size and that size will eventually be the excuse given for the high price.

I think we will see Marion and Sallah. Unless they scrap one of the two for Map Room Indy just to rehash and try to pick up some quick money or they will do some crazy and give us Monkey Man. I would guess they would want to round out one movie as much as they can before moving onto the next and if the line is going to get canceled I would think they would finish up what they can with the first movie and not bother with the rest but who knows.

As for PF I am thinking Temple of Doom Indy and Mola Ram. With PFs they can easily jump around movies and not really worry about completing a line based on movies.

After German Indy, I'm not sure what's in store. I would have guessed Mola and Marion... but now another Indy (Map Room) is wholey possible, like the many Bonds that got made. Indy seems to sell well, so why risk another Belloq I guess?

And it does seem like Mola Ram PF is more likely than 1/6th Mola now.

SSC is moving into Hot Toy's "produce less, charge more" business model. I think they maybe starting to believe that charging $100 per figure but keep the line small is smarter than charging $60 but produce a deep line.

Haven't we learned that even sold out stuff isn't REALLY sold out (Belloq Ex.) I hope its low but even if they made 50 I wouldn't want one.

This figure is 4th quarter, so by then a lot of people might cancel before shipping... meaning you can still get one later if you want one. Of course, that all depends on where they take the line in the coming months.

It's hella sad but this becomes more true with every release, especially with this line's, hell, this license's exclusives.

I wouldn't mind a Map Room Indy. I think next would be a bad idea but down the road and even though I'm making one I'd be pretty tempted to get one.

I guess I just don't get the hate for this figure. The price is a bit off the mark but the rest of the figure looks nice. I'm glad to get it and I think it looks nice. Sure it wasn't my choice for the figure I wanted next or thought we'd see next but I don't think that makes it a bad figure. It honestly comes across from some that well they didn't make my choice its a lazy one and a bad figure. IMO thats kind of a lame way to react. It very much comes across like I didn't get my choice so screw you.

Yup, that would be sweet. I want other folks but there are several versions of Indy I do want. This German one was one of them. I wouldn't mind Map Room, Professor Jones, German Indy from Last Crusade, Indy with sleeve torn off from TOD, etc.

I hope if they do offer a TOD Indy that a shirt missing the sleeve would be an accessory to the figure and not the primary way to display him.

I guess. I think him without sleeve is the version from TOD that they should make. As the outfit isn't that different is it?
